I have been here many times and it's usually when I can't find what I want from the other hardware store across the street. Overall I really like the selections here and to me, they have slightly higher end items and it's geared more towards the contractor than the "other" popular chain across the street. Their garden selection could be a little better but for tools, flooring and hardware in general they rock and always have what I'm looking for. Enjoy!

If I could give 0 stars I would the manager Tiffany is very rude and did not even came to talk in person when I asked to speak to her, they followed me like I was going to walk out of the door with something but when I need help there is no one there at all. Managment is very unprofessional and poor customer service. Why do they have managers if they can't even help customers they need to choose more profesional managers and customer service agents who does not get mad when questions are asked, if you guys don't like the work with clients and customers then work in something else.

I asked for assistance from one of the staff. They asked me if I found what I was looking for and I said no. They told me to go ask the front desk instead of helping me look in the aisle. I ended up looking for it myself and finding it. I proceeded to the self check out and one of the employees greeted another customer but didn't greet me with the same enthusiasm. I was treated like a total stranger. I never going back to this location ever again.

I bought a dish washer and was told it was brand new. I got it home and it is missing a hose and the cord. I had to rent a truck to get it and then again to take it back. So now I'm out of 300$ because I was sold a broken dishwasher missing parts. When I called and explained the situation they put me on hold for 30 minutes, transferred 3 times, and was told they can't do anything.

Rented a tractor from tool rental which I have done on other occasions without issue however on this rental they put a $500 deposited which I was told would credit back when the tractor was returned on time which it was. I even asked prior to leaving and the associate advised my total was $320 and some Change. Get my bill it says $820 and change. Called the store spoke with manager who basically tried to justify the charge. Have filed a dispute with my credit card company. Looked at my receipt which shows total charge of $320 with the $500 being refunded. Long story short I will never rent from here again! Stay away very shady!

I am generous with my two star rating .....on April 11, 2021, I went into store #360 with the intent of getting information to purchase a range and overhead microwave as well as a refrigerator and dishwasher. The sales associate seemed disinterested. She allowed herself to be interrupted with someone while waiting on me. I expressed my displeasure to the manager on duty. She was nice but offered up a litany of excuses about being short staffed ...yada yada.....I told her I wasn't interested in hearing such. I requested someone from appliances call me Monday, April 12 to set up an appointment to discuss purchase options of about $2500. She assured me that I would receive a phone call. No one called. I am not surprised. From my past experiences I have gotten indifferent service. I won't be making this purchase from this store .

Covid does not affect this particular review. I visit this location frequently for various reasons. I was perusing the flooring department today. The person in charge of this department on my visit today unfortunately offered poor customer service. My questions turned in to only one question as they seemed visibly disappointed that I was inquiring about help. Admittedly, my question posed was a yes or no type but the answer could have been expanded upon. I don't believe they particularly wanted to assist or possibly was unsure of how to assist. There was no indication that they did want to assist. I visited Google maps to leave a similar review as usual and all review capabilities have been "turned off" thus allowing no one to review the location. I found that odd/unusual. With the many flooring store options around me, thankfully I will be able to visit with someone who can help.

Riding mower broke mid cut and I was tired of fixing it so I decided to go buy a new one. Found a nice looking Toro zero turn for a good price at The Home Depot and decided to buy it. After paying $3000 for the mower they tell me they can't find the key for it. After waiting 30 minutes I tell them I need to run errands and will come back. When I get back they tell me that the mower they sold me is broken and will refund me. Then they proceed to tell me that at least they didn't let me take home a lemon. Yea but you sold me one and now I gotta wait days before the money is back in my account before I can buy another one. Day 2 still nothing in my account and my yard looks like dog poo. Will never buy from Home Depot again. Take it from me, don't go to Home Depot, I found out they have Tractor Supply and their sales people knew what they were talking about and guaranteed all their equipment works.. Even got my mower picked out there, if only the Depot would give me my money back

Horrible service or should I say lack of service at all. Went in to purchase carpet for my Mothers home. Upon entering the flooring department I came across two associates sitting behind the desk talking to each other, neither one stopped their conversation to acknowledged me let alone ask if I needed assistance. I proceeded to look at the carpet samples and had questions about price and installation. After looking around for some assistance (both associates had disappeared) I had to find someone from another department. They said they would call someone who could help me. I waited about 15 minutes and no one ever came. I decided to leave and shop elsewhere. On my way out of the store I stopped at the customer service desk and spoke to a manager. She was courteous and apologized, but offered to do nothing to retain my business and simply allowed me to walk out of the door. I planned on spending quite a bit of money on carpet that day but because of the experience I had in that store, I will spend it elsewhere. There are too many other places in Lafayette who WILL help their customers....you loss Home Depot.

I have been to this store twice during the past two months and I had great experiences both times. During both visits I was very impressed by the amount of knowledge that both of your sales staff had. During my first visit, I met with Roland. He helped me pick out a toilet. He was awesome. I later arrived back at the store with my mother who also purchased a toilet. Today I arrived at the store again looking for a lawn mower. I met Mitch. I know nothing about buying mowers and he answered every question I had. He was very patient and full of knowledge. He listened and suggested a mower that would suit me. Thank you for hiring such a friendly staff. I do a little bit of research before I purchase anything so I usually have a list of questions regarding the items I want to buy. I looked around at Lowe's and I was completely turned off. There staff could not answer any of my questions. Thanks again for not making me go down the road to Stine's.

Basic bait and switch shop. One salesman quoted a price to us for flooring. Of course we had to pay $35.00 for their measurements before they would order anything. We returned to make our purchase and the original quote was not honored and in fact the price had now increased three fold. Yes , not doubled but tripled!! The salesman we had now told us he would talk to his supervisor and see what he could do and call us back. In fact He did actually call back but states his supervisor said their new price was firm. I know what bait and switch is but this is very dishonest. I am going to report this to the corporate office also. We purchased our items from a different shop.
