Husband took the car to get an estimate, woman at the desk was rude as hell. I get y’all not taking cars but to tell my husband if we not going with yall then you not checking my car out. We went there for an estimate so I can send off to insurance company. Never stated work wouldn’t be done there just needed the estimate to send off to insurance. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and treats the next customer nicely.

They did an amazing job with our truck! They went above and beyond, very professional, in s timely manner. Truck looks brand new!!! Will definitely go back to have body work on my suv.

They did a good job on the vehicle, can't complain. I was rear ended and my back end was pretty tore up, but it looks brand new. They finished it a reasonable amount of time and a fair price.

The job was to replace the rubber shield under the front of the Camry. Quooted $249/ Should I bring cash.? No we take cash or card. But previously we got a discount for cash. No... no discount. Ordered work to be done on the spot. Expected PARTS available following morning. Did not hear for another week when I called. "Sure part just arrived this morning" . available to do the work that afternoon. Work was done quickly ...within an hour. Now comes the kicker ... I presented my credit card... "Oh, there is a 4% surcharge"...... BUT BUT BUT we talked about cash v credit card when I ordered ..... "We always add 4% "..... I know, BUT BUT BUT ....." DO YOU NOT RECALL i ASKED ABOUT THAT WHEN i ORDERED..... You made no mention of a 4% surcharge. So I paid the the $9.77 .... My ride had left ..... and going to a bank would have been a hassle. Why do businesses go back on their word .... stupid and short sighted.

Unacceptable delays in completion times. What was at first reported to be a 2-3 day job, from a scheduled appointment drop-off over a month after the damages occured, has turned into 3 weeks and the car has not even been touched.

First of all is you have State Farm Insurance Gary's is on of their preferred shops. Makes things effortless. Staff is very knowledgable and friendly. I was only there to order a piece for my dashboard broken in a burglary at another body shop, but I sure wish I had taken the truck here first. God forbid aby more accidents but if so Gary's would definitely get my business

They treat you like family. I took my car that someone else had said was totaled and they were actually able to get my quote down enough for the insurance company to agree to fix it!! They are amazing people!! God bless all of you. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

I am a business owner here in Lafayette, so this is an honest and unbiased review. I got hit by a Hit & Run driver Feb.14 2020. My insurance (State Farm) had a list of their preferred shops for repair, so I chose Gary’s based on closest proximity and fair reviews. Upon arriving to get an initial quote in person, it took some time until the receptionist acknowledged me, even though I was the only one in the tiny reception area. When she did ask what I was there for, she barely looked up and seemed very agitated which is besides the point, but also important if you’re in charge of customer service. After getting a printout on my initial quote, I claimed with my insurance company, and called to ask how long it would take so I could get a rental car (which I had to pay out of pocket for due to lack of coverage from my insurance). I was told it would take Monday-Friday. I dropped it off first thing Monday morning. Well, 5 days turned into 15 day that my car would stay in their shop. I had to rent a car for 15 days. Before I went to pick up my car, I asked the total amount. The receptionist told me it would be appx $300 more than I was initially quoted. Thankfully, I kept my initial printed quote, because I would’ve paid out of pocket more than a $1000 (when I was only supposed to pay less than $713) I told the receptionist about this discrepancy, and she asked if I’d email her the initial printed quote. I did, and she honored the initial price. Overall, I would not recommend this body shop. The receptionist is passive and ambiguous, and the business created an absolute huge inconvenience for me keeping my vehicle that long. This is all in addition to the fact that they completely neglected to repair my rear bumper which is obviously still damaged from the accident. And yes, I have proof of this. Will never go back.
