I was recommended by my real estate agent that this company was good insurance and affordable. But that is not how it ended up. Trying to get ahold of anyone in the office is almost impossible. The agent seems to never be in the office and they do not work weekends. They also close at 4pm, so if you have any issues you have to wait till the next day.
I was with them almost a yr and I had to pay for the membership as well as my policy. Their pricing is just outrageous in my opinion. I left geico, who I had been with over 10 yrs when I moved her due to price increase. But I wish I hadn’t wasted my money here. Too many price increases for me.

They say that we are busy when I call them to update the address in renters insurance. Not recommended...when I follow--up for an update. Agent started yelling on me with attitude, no respect...Hence I moved both renters as well as auto insurance from farm bureau immediately. So that I do not have to deal with this again.

If I could give them no stars, I definitely would.
My wife and I have questioned the constant rise in price and the ridiculous terms for service. The first issue that we had was when a semi had kicked up an object off the road that shattered our passenger window. I have 360 cameras installed on all of our vehicles and offered to send them the video for evidence. They wanted to charge me a deductible that was 3X the cost of replacing the glass. Every other insurance provider I have used has always covered glass without any deductible, but not these guys. Ultimately, it made more sense for me to pay out of pocket, as it was much cheaper. This was the first strike towards them, and the constant increase in our policy was the second strike.
The third strike, that lead to us parting ways with this provider was when my wife called to stop a draft and Raven and Allison were very rude with my wife during the call and had even hung up on her. I later filed a complaint with the BBB when they charged us again after terminating our policy with them. They claimed that we never asked for that, but we actually had contacted Corporate in order to get anything done due to the girls being so rude in the office. Corporate had told us during the call that they would email the local office about the termination. In response to the complaint with the BBB, they had lied about the interaction, claiming that my wife was cursing them out and hung up on them repeatedly. This information was referenced from the office notes as opposed to just listening to the "recorded" call that can't be manipulated because you want to protect your job. The fact that they blatantly lied about the interaction while quickly refunding the money was ridiculous, suspicious, and unacceptable. These people are untrustworthy and even had the nerve to send a letter to the house for us to come back. I will never do business with these manipulative individuals due to their false documentation practices as well as their poor services.

Upon arrival, My sister entered the building, the agent stated he would be right with her, keep in mind no one else was in the building. After 45 minutes of waiting she stepped outside to smoke a cigarette, before she could light it, the agent came out frowned up, and loudly said, "What after you doing? I'M READY! So she proceeded back inside, to began the transaction. He asked first, why don't you have insurance. (An assumption he made before taking her into) she offered to pull up her current insurance online, but informed she would need to use their WiFi, because her service wasn't great in the building. He have her the code, she replied thank you what was the last word? Once again he yelled, she ask if he was having a bad day. He then refuse service. At the end of the day, the company lost a potential customer, due to his sterotypical behavior and negative attitude. I referred her and because I witnessed this behavior, I will withdrawing my policy as well as my son's and mother. On a job, you don't always get the fair end of the stick, but in this case, the customer was definitely right.

Horrible insurance, and even more terrible customer service. All they want is money and when u give it, it's still not enough. They will not refund your membership fee. Even though u don't have insurance anymore. Horrible, save yourself and go to statefarm.

I worked for a car rental company for about 4 years. At the time I had super cheap insurance and thought it would all be ok. After seeing the life altering hassle people would have to deal with for having cheap insurance, I realized you get what you pay for. It is more expensive but will save you time and money in the event you need it. Farm Bureau was always the best company we did business with. But I stayed with my half price insurance. I was hit by a driver with no insurance and my cheap insurance company took months to pay my claim and I ended up about $4,000 short of what I deserved. I switched to Farm Bureau and have happily been there for almost 10 years. Don't try to save a few bucks a month to lose thousands when it matters.
