I went to this store today! Because I read some of the reviews, I was a little bit hesitant. To my surprise, I was greeted by both ladies as soon as I opened the door. They were very helpful! One of the ladies setup a fitting room area for my daughters and I before we were even ready to try on. They brought dresses to us gave opinions! I had an awesome experience will definitely be returning to this store

I came here once about 4 months ago. I only buy pre-loved clothing and I buy it so rarely that I love going to consignment stores with selective quality brands. This store has a wonderful selection. But as many other reviews say, I felt very unwelcomed in the store. No greeting and there were plenty of people who could have offered a "welcome and let me know if I can help you with anything." But even more than that, there was some serious negative energy that made me feel like I did not belong in there. Like this was an exclusive secret club for people who look, act, and talk a certain way, and they're secretly judging you with their secret criteria the moment you walk in. Hurts my heart to read others had the same experience. I left empty-handed because of this feeling. No matter how busy you are, taking a moment to send good energy to your customers will go a long way.

If I was able to leave no stars, I would have. I truly enjoy supporting local businesses, vintage/ antique shops, and resale stores as well. I’ve been fortunate to travel through 46 states within the United States doing the same. I’ve never felt so isolated or insulted as I did entering this store, Clothing Loft, in Lafayette, Louisiana. No one greeted me with a “hi”, “welcome to Clothing Loft”, or anything other acknowledgment besides looking at me as if I didn’t belong here. I never feel obligated to do business with anyone who feels my money looks like it’s a different color, as such as it does with the tone of my flesh. Thanks Clothing Loft for allowing me to take your business off of my lists of resale stores to visit.

I've enjoyed shopping at The Clothing Loft for over a decade! I can't imagine starting any shopping trip anywhere else! They have so many incredible items and you can't beat the prices! I'll always be thier biggest fan!

I love shopping here, and I usually end up finding something I like… however I don’t like to spend my money here anymore cause the staff completely ignores me. I NEVER get greeted when I walk into this store, nor does anyone ever ask if I need help with anything.Sorry if I’m old school, but it’s nice to be acknowledged when you walk into a business. Especially when they look right at you when you walk in the door. Every. Single. Time.

Good selection and good prices as well. Unfortunately, the staff is always rude and unwelcoming. While I was checking out, they barely acknowledged me and instead chose to make fun of one of their friends in front of me. I will not be returning to shop there.

As a mother one of the most rewarding memories are to enjoy shopping for prom dresses, with your daughter. On today, we made an attempt to do just that starting with the Clothing Loft. This was our first time visiting this store as it came highly recommended. I will say the racial profiling was so strongly felt in the Clothing Loft, I do not recommend women of color to shop there. This has to stop!
