“Very nice people working there. The owner is very nice. His store is always clean. The shelves are clean and well stocked. The food is good and there are a nice variety of meat. Y'all should go there and shop. Don't forget to try out the boudin, regular cracklings and the chicken cracklings”
“The red beans and rice were tasty, but just mush. No beans in it. I understand different people like different things, I just like some beans in mine.
The burger was delicious, juicy, and a great size. The boudain addition was definitely worth it. I don't know what kind of bun they used, but it reminded me of a jalepeno bun, kinda sweet. I could eat the burger 3 times a week.
The pork chop breading was too hard. I like crunchy, but that was like the wet chop sat in the flour too long type of hard. It was well seasoned beneath the flour though. I would come back for sure.
The service was excellent. It seems like I'm bashing the place but I'm not. EVERYTHING tasted great, there's just some things I like different than others. I would absolutely go back again and again.”

“I go here regularly for the cracklin, which is the best I’ve ever consistently found, and their boudin which is also as good as any I’ve ever had! They have a large array of specialty Cajun products and a great wine selection for a fairly small place. The location is great too. Easy to get to from either New Iberia or Lafayette.”

“Don’t let the size of this little neighborhood grocery store for you… They have everything you need, and more! Gluten free… No problem, they have surprise me with a fair amount of options here. The premade chicken salad is my absolute favorite!… And the jalapeño chicken burgers in the deli section are amazing! They have wonderful meat specials every day. The chicken and steak kebabs, and the stuffed pork chops are my favorite.”
