“As a professional licensed contractor I spend lots of time in hardware/ lumber stores. Doug Ashy- Breaux Bridge location- is at the top of my list and is the standard bearer for all others. Parking is always easy/ The store is clean and maintained/ The people are friendly and knowledgeable/ The shelves are stocked/ access to lumber area is large and easy to navigate/ they have the best "gate man" in the industry/ The workers in the back are fun to joke with/ then after topping off my coffee I'm headed back to the job site... Again, this is the standard bearer”
“I have been here many times and it's usually when I can't find what I want from the other hardware store across the street. Overall I really like the selections here and to me, they have slightly higher end items and it's geared more towards the contractor than the "other" popular chain across the street. Their garden selection could be a little better but for tools, flooring and hardware in general they rock and always have what I'm looking for. Enjoy!”
