This store should be called "Batteries Minus." I've visited four times, and they never have power supplies for laptops, nor do they have replacement lights for cars. While the staff is friendly and not rude, they always have a deer-in-headlights look when you ask for something. The real issue is that the website directs you to this location for specific items, which are never in stock. They should really change their name to "Go to Amazon and Buy It!"

I brought a battery that has been giving me problems and unable to keep a charge to be warrantied by the store a bought from batteries plus on Johnston street. I brought the battery in on 8/4/2024. The employee working said she was new and they didn’t have my battery in stock to warranty. Being new she didn’t have the experience to order a replacement and would have to wait till tomorrow. I asked for the battery to be charged while I waited for someone to call me back about the warranty. As of 8/5/24 around 3:45 pm no one had called. I called in and asked about my battery and was told it wasn’t holding a charge (as predicted). The young man who I spoke with informed me the battery may not be covered due to a lack of maintenance. I told them the battery was maintained and it was a battery issue. The bike sat on a drip charge for 3 months while I was out of town. I was told I’d have to wait for a manager to call me back to discuss the warranty further. No one called me back “first thing” as promised, so once again, I call in to check on the status of my battery. Enter Michelle, where do I start. Instantly she denied my warranty, I asked to be referred to someone other than her as she was being confrontational wouldn’t let me talk or explain the situation just repeatedly kept talking over me and saying sorry nothing can be done. I was told the ladder stopped with her. She was insistent on talking over me, would not let me speak. When I asked her to let me speak I was told to be quiet until she was finished. She told me she didn’t have time to deal with me, because she has customers in the store. So not only was I told to be quiet, not only was I told my warranty wasn’t being honored, not only was I told there wasn’t a manager to speak with besides Michelle it appears I am not a customer either even though they have my Batteries Plus lithium battery I bought from them in their possession, in addition Michelle hung up on me 2xs and I had to call back multiple times before she agreed to send my information to the district manager. She was antagonistic in every way possible. She would not let me talk, her tone was antagonistic and she repeatedly apologized in the most sarcastic tone possible. It wasn’t until I told her I would keep calling back till someone could help or discuss further that she magically had a district manager she would transfer my information to. After ending the phone call it wasn’t until I mentioned a review that they magically spoke to the district manager who said they may have a way to fix the battery… still
Waiting and still not impressed with their customer service. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be talk down to, told to be quiet and informed you are not a customer and the people in store matter more than you do. Thanks Batteries Plus!

Had my s23 ultra screen repaired and it was covered by tmobile the screen was off on the corners and finger smudges on the inside of the camera lenses like I got this phone to take photos how can I take a photo with the camera I can't clean and no thanks to the screen corners lifted its not water proof no more this is despicable
Will be repairing it myself since it can't be done correctly when paid for

I stopped into the store to change a battery on my key fob and found out I have a lifetime replacement, plus a business discount for being "The Notary Bug, Mobile Notary Services!" Yay!

I have been using multiple Batteries Plus locations across three different states. I have found that their best use is for specialty batteries and bulbs.For many specialty batteries not only are they normally the only local location that will have them in stock but they often have a range to choose from. They will perform the replacement on site while you wait (with very short turn around) and offer a warranty. Key fobs, phones, and other small electronics which are a pain to do yourself are handled quickly.If you need a battery in some odd size, picking it up from them will be far faster than ordering online.

I placed an online order for an automotive battery which showed a Duracell battery. When I went to pick it up they did not have any Duracell batteries but another brand.

If you need a battery and they don't have it, you don't need it. What you need to do is verify that your part number is correct.... They have batteries that I didn't even know existed. The staff was very friendly and got me fixed up in minutes. If you have to replace a battery, this is definitely the place to go!

Bought a car battery with a warranty. The battery started leaking from the bottom and was told the warranty does not cover physical defects. And was forced to buy another for at least $180. HORRIBLE!!!
