Self checkout pay for your own bags and the prices do not reflect their cost saving on these things. Will not shop here again

The produce and dairy were fantastic prices. Got a lot of good bargains thru out the clean store.Remember your bags. We drove 1.5 hours for the trip so we had our ice chests too.

The only thing I would ask is that Aldi would have a motorized shopping cart, but they don’t every time I go in there it’s broken someone didn’t take care of it. Aldi does not have people to bring it in or bring it back to charge it so it gets left out rained on. It’s really a shame that when people shop there they can’t return it so that the next person can have the use of it. As far as Aldi‘s products are great Their produce is the best.

The staff has always been so helpful whenever I have questions. The prices are great compared to other grocery stores in the area. And being able to have a selection of food from other countries is really cool

So proud of Lafayette for finally opening their doors to this business. ALDI is very well priced compared to other competitive grocery markets AND it has far better morals attached to their name than other companies of a similar nature.ALDI has all the food you would need and if they don’t, they may have it next week with their continuous rotation of LTO items. This is the perfect place to go grocery shopping as a college student or a family. No matter who you are, this place is awesome for saving money and meal prepping.

Second best grocery store in the world behind Lidl. This place has what you need at excellent prices. Cheaper than Wally.

First if you aren't familiar with Aldi, bring your own bags or plan to our have some and you will need a quarter to unlock your cart to make your shopping experience a bit easier. This location isn't that large but does have a nice selection of just about everything. Some brands may not be familiar but they do offer some items you may not see often and most of their brands are great with many prices being lower than competitors. Nice selection of produce, even an aisle with a random assortment of clothing, home items and other merchandise. Fun to shop around and check out the new items.

The idea of the store is good. Staff is no help and infact just ignores you. Was unable to find many things on my list. So I had to go to another store anyway. Prices are creeping up making it less convenient and less attractive as a shopper.

The quality & selection of this store is like on "Dollar General" level to me. Nothing really special about this German store; doesn't really even carry familiar European brands. I don't get the hype, but I guess it's just the "latest thing" in such a small town.

I've been reading reviews, and there's a misconception about Aldi. First, Google the store, and you'll better understand what it's about. From experience, I can say that the overall savings is great compared to Walmart. Things to avoid: coffee. Buy from Super 1 about every 4 weeks when it's on sale. Produce: all of the green food tends to go bad within a couple days. The exception is mushrooms, berries, citrus & apples. I also avoid the garlic as it's imported from China. If you eat bread, the prices are great. Canned goods, including beans, tomato products, and tuna, are excellent. Herbs & spices are very good. Whole fryers are usually $6.99 each & good quality. The cheeses are extremely good, as is most of the other dairy products. They also have almond milk and vegan cheese that's great. The frozen vegetables are good quality, as is the ice cream. Their salsas can't be beat.Non-food items that I recommend are the cat litter, dish liquid, garbage and zip bags, bath tissue, and paper towels. The bleach gel is very good also.Pet food is good quality as is the candy. Their mustard varieties are the best, and they offer an excellent organic ketchup. The nuts, olives, and vinegars are some of the best.Bring your own bags and a quarter for the cart. You get it back and the carts are clean and unharmed.

Our local stores are good models for success in the present economy. Aldi's no frills shopping, good value marketing even the return the cart method works great. The Laf. area was chosen instead of BR for our per capital ranking and shows the level of research done by management to better optimize success.
