“I keep trying to patronize this store, but it's not easy. I generally go to the Dollar General on the east side, in Oaklawn, because it seems cleaner, and sells beer and wine.”
“Had to run out on a nasty rainy Christmas Eve for cold medicine, etc while on family vacation in the area. Sweetest woman was working and I appreciated her kindness so much. Store is well stocked and organized to suit needs for a quick stop. May God bless the kind cashier and her family this holiday and in to the new year.”
“This is a beautiful state park with camping and lots of day use amenities. There is a splash pad, a nice playground, miles of hiking trails, pavilions, a fishing pier and much more. We enjoy the abundant wildlife. We have seen many deer, racoons, and birds of many species including an eagle. The campground has around 150 improved campsites that provide electricity and water. There are many unimproved sites as well. The site has some historical value as well. There is an old sugar mill and an interpretive center staffed by park rangers. You will want bug spray as the mosquitoes are aggressive.”
