We broke down just down the road with our 13 month old grandson. We managed to arrive at 803pm to get the part to get home. They were closed. My son asked, but the man inside said they were closing. At 805pm, those two men walked out the back of the store, leaving us broke down. Not their problem, I guess, but what an awful feeling for us, one little part, 5 minutes, and we could get home. We are not from the area, passing through Kinder. I understand they were closing, but if you saw a family broke down in your parking lot, wouldn't you try to help them, not these two men evidently. A kind beautiful man stopped and helped us rig the car to get home with our tired, hot grandson. Thanks, oreillys. It won't hurt your business at all, but I'll try hard never to visit your stores again!

The staff is friendly. However, the way a removed alternator is checked isn't accurate. Their machine inside showed it was good, so it was put back on the vehicle and checked the following day with the machine they bring outside to the vehicle and it was in fact a faulty alternator. The over $450.00 part is only 1 and 1/2 years old and under warranty and has to be removed and replaced again. With labor fees over $300.00 and climbing. Not really an ideal way of checking parts you've removed if the machine only shows good when in fact the alternator while on the vehicle was showing bad at the same store. It leaves a customer weary of the warranty being denied as well as costing them more in labor. It shouldn't happen this way. Lesson learned.

Friendly customer service. Walk-in and ask for what you need and they'll point you in the right direction or come around the counter and help you find it. They have clean bathrooms also. Right off Hwy 165. Get in, get what you need and get out!
