I was in the Kenner area on business. When I got in my car to go home to Mobile, AL, my gear shift would move but would not go into reverse. Had it towed to their shop. Even though they do appointments only, they took a look at it. They fixed it so I could drive home and wouldn't take any payment. Great guys. Nice, courteous, and very helpful. Highly recommend.

I brought in my van because it seemed to be having transmission problems. They took a look at it, at no charge, and said that it seemed like a problem with the catalytic converter rather than the transmission. They referred me to a good muffler shop. And when the muffler shop couldn't find any problem, they called and convinced the muffler shop to keep looking. Sure enough, the initial diagnosis was right, and the muffler shop eventually found the problem and fixed it. Without the help from Precision Transmission, I probably would have spent a lot of time and money trying to figure out what was wrong with my van. I am very grateful for the care they took in solving my car problem, even when they had nothing to gain from it.

afew years ago my 1998 chevy lumina transmission went out. Precision did a wonderful job. with 170,000 miles on it. Precison rebuilt it and I drove it up to 300,000 miles and sold it , the transmission was still running perfect.

My transmission was slipping and transmission fluid was leaking from the front of my 2012 truck and I had it towed to "Pat" at Percicsion Transmission Exc. for 8:00am and by 9:00am Pat had called me and he had fixed my problem. I had a transmission hose burst and all of my transmisson fluid had leaked out. Pat fixed it and added fluid and took it out on a test drive and found that my transmission was still working for the time being and told me it was ok to drive it around, but to keep an eye out if my transmission should start to slip later on and bring it in. Pat was so polite, friendly and professional in handling the problem I had in a fast and effecient way. What I thought would be an expensive fix turned out to be a very reasonable amount of money to fix what was done to put my truck back on the road. I strongly recomend Pat and his crew to fix any transmission problems I may have in the future. This company is ligit and not a rip off.Services: Transmission

Pat is was very personable and patient and helped me understand what was wrong with my car. The shop was able to diagnose it in a very timely fashion. Overall experience - very pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
