I hate this pharmacy! They’re absolutely horrible. Nobody answers the phone, drive-thru is never open. They just need to close

I strictly went to the pharmacy. I was next in line when I got there. The pharmacy tech was polite and knowledgeable. She found my script and checked me out in no time. As I was leaving the store, I noticed that there was only one person waiting to be checked out. There was plenty of parking.

I literally hate to have to come to this pharmacy. They often don’t utilize the drive-through portion of the pharmacy and you will wait literally 30 minutes or more to get service there. That’s not including the time for them to actually get your medication and hand it to you— if they actually have it open at all. I feel that they are very rude and unprofessional over the phone and in person when you go in I have called the corporate and reported interactions and how they operate but nothing has yet to be done. If you absolutely just want to use CVS as your preferred pharmacy, then go to the one inside target at the Old Esplanade Mall the CVS absolutely sucks. I would never recommend anyone to go there for the pharmacy.

I understand they’re understaffed but this place is so horrible. There’s always a line and the phone is never answered. They just let it ring off the hook. I have to wait WEEKS to get notified my prescription is ready.

the conversations that they hold in cvs are unethical, I won't send my money here until one of the young ladies is fired

Ghetto location with pharmacy staff who doesn’t care about people. My doctor called in a prescription for me and it has been 5 days and this location refuses to transfer to location that has medication in stock. The staff is rude and ratchet.

The pharmacy is the absolute worst. I wish my insurance would let me go somewhere else.

It seems like they won't even fill your prescriptions that are called in unless you call them and beg lol.In the past month, I've had to wait an average of 2 days to get a script filled. One of those times was for a pre-packaged antibiotic that simply needed to be placed in a bag with a label sticker.UPDATE: came on a Sunday at 2pm and a handwritten "pharmacy closed" sign was out. Now it seems you'd need to call ahead to make sure they are even open, but they don't answer the phone. Switching pharmacies this week.

I’ve had one pharmacist actually help and show compassion. My daughter has severe health issues and needs medication day to day. I’ve been met with an insane amount of attitude trying to get medication problems resolved, had to use this location due to the hurricane. Cannot comprehend how this place is even allowed to be run like this. If you have ANY other option, use it. If you depend on medications to survive, run to another pharmacy.

If you're thinking about calling with a question, you might as well get in the car and go over there. That's how long you'll be on hold. Being as i have to get in the car anyway, I might as well go to target instead. It's closer to my house.

CVS at 820 W. Esplanade Ave, Kenner, LA service is terrible! They never answer their phone without 20-30 minutes of wait time. Our doctor said they can’t call this pharmacy to order prescriptions because no one is answering the phone on time. They pick up the phone after long waits, attitude of the pharmacy associates are bad, no problems are solved. Prescriptions are never filled on time, so we are asked to go somewhere else. I don’t know why this business is still open just to hassle the community.

I understand that businesses are struggling due to COVID but that is not excuse for the way I was treated during my visit to this CVS. I was going to fill a prescription for my husband. The pharmacy tech was rude and short with me and other customers. When he asked if I wanted to leave and come back or stay and wait for the prescriptions, I said I wanted to leave and come back later. He said "If you wait here, it will be ready sooner." I said "okay, how long will the wait be?" He said "15 minutes." I said "okay I'll wait" and I sat down. I ended up waiting there for over an hour. After about 50 minutes of waiting, I stood up and waited at the counter to ask how much longer it might be. The pharmacy tech ignored me for about 5 minutes, pretending not to see me. When I finally got to ask, he raised his voice at me saying that they were going as fast as they could. No apologies or anything. There were multiple other customers there who were kept waiting far longer than they had been told. All I'm saying is don't tell people 15 minutes if it's going to be an hour and then be rude to them. I could have gone all the way home and cooked dinner for my sick husband in the time that I sat there waiting.
