Customer service, at the pharmacy counter, is lacking and it's like that every time I go there. The employees always have to have conversations with each other, joke around with each other or do something other than wait on customers who are there to have their prescriptions filled. The rest of the store is just fine.

This is a clean Walgreens but it was definitely set up different than any Walgreens I'd ever seen. The employees were nice, the bathroom clean, and for Christmas Day, it was stocked.

WHERE'S MY PRESCRIPTIONS ??? So over a week ago went to my dr and he given me 3 prescriptions. One was my antidepressants, mild-muscle relaxers, and the last one anti-inflammatories all of which were called in by my dr as per usual. I did as I normally do - after a couple hours check the Walgreens app to see if my 'scripts are ready for pickup - which they were. But unfortunately I don't have a car at this time and although Walgreens offers delivery or mail, it never seems to go through (at least the couple times I've tried with this particular Walgreens), always getting stuck in "processing" and then canceled out. I been dealing with Walgreens for years and so well I'm aware that they will hold your prescriptions for 10 days before putting them back. Figured I had time to find someone to bring there to pick them up or go get my prescriptions. The 10th day came and I got a call asking if I'm coming to get them. I asked the girl if they can be held for 2 more days. "Sure, no problem" she said. Now a day before this happened my usual auto refills of my other meds went through (I told the associate that I be there to pick all them up at the same time with the ones being held for 2 extra days). Found it a bit odd that the app said the 'scripts that were suppose to be held for 2 extra days were now marked as "picked up", but okay....their app is glitchy sometimes so I didn't really worry about it too much. The day came for me to pick everything up. Got my 'scripts but not the ones they were suppose to hold. According to them I picked them up. No, I didn't. Nobody did. They were suppose to be held for a couple more days. So now they're missing and my insurance will not pay for them again because it's too soon to refill them. Will Walgreens refill them without charge for their mistake, nope. So I'm screwed...with depression and anxiety, and a sore back. As I said before, I've dealt with Walgreens for over 30+ years and never really had any major problems. I actually just recently moved here to Jefferson from Mandeville. Never, EVER had any problems with the 2 Walgreens in Mandeville other than the one on Hwy 190 pickup line (whether be it the drive-thru or the inside counter) is slow as a coke can trying to cross the street, and the one on Hwy 22 takes their sweet ole time filling your prescription - oh and the delivery or mail your prescription was easy-peezy as well. This Walgreens here in Jefferson...ha, I've put call/put in prescriptions and they start to fill them, then cancel them out for no reason at all and now this. Guess my butt is going to CVS now and dealing with their 3-mile long receipts.

Nice enough Walgreens. Plenty of parking, propane tank drop off and pick up, Red Box movie rental. Hank Hill would be proud of the propane tank area, though I didn't check for any propane tank accessories. Employees seem friendly enough. Clean, well organized. Plenty of items of what they do have in inventory. I had no issue with this location.

I wanted to get a Covid test prior to visiting family, so scheduled an appointment for the drive-through testing. I picked this location because it's one of the Louisiana Department of Health "no cost" locations. Note that it's important to verify that prior to making your appointment. You'll be requested to enter your insurance details if you have it, but won't be charged if your insurance declines to pay. I wasn't able to schedule an appointment for same day testing, but could schedule the following day. An email confirmation was sent a few hours later informing me of my appointment instructions. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 7 minutes early and they were ready for me. They walked me through administering my own test and I was done within a minute. I was nervous about how long the results would take, but it only took 1.5 days to get my results online. I highly recommend this Walgreens for anyone needing a quick and convenient Covid test.

Technicians lie about not having your meds in stock so that they don’t have to do any work

Although there are some nice people who work here- they take sooooo long to fill prescriptions, let non-pharmacy workers answer questions and get the prescription information wrong!! Not to mention it's always hours - sometimes 8 when the dr calls in Medicine for them to fill it. They are either understaffed or have taken on too much business since Rite Aid closed, it's really terrible.

Worst drugstore on the planet. Incompetent employees including the pharmacists. I've had my oncologist email in prescriptions to this branch and I go there two hours later and it's still not ready. Next time I gave them a days notice and it still wasn't ready. I gave them one last chance this past Friday and they dropped the ball yet again. They left me waiting for an hour and they had a two hour notice. Never again. It's either Wal*Mart or Majoria for me from now on. Obviously management could care less about the inefficient way they conduct business.

Don't go to this Walgreens if your trying to buy a 4 pack of Redbull. It's almost always on sale for $5.99 but it is NEVER in stock. First they told me it was because it gets stolen (despite the hundreds of single cans in the cooler that aren't steal worthy) then they told me that they sell out of it but they can't order more because they lose money. It's annoying to know the 4 packs are on sale for $5.99 but I'm paying $7 or $8 dollars for 4 individual cans. I think I'll take the clerks suggestion and go to another store, like CVS.

Disappointed... moved around corner off Newman and was so excited to have a close drug store. Dr had to call in script twice which is very hard to get them to do even once because they are so busy. Went in person and waited in line for 20 minutes told they would research and call me back... never did! 8 hours later finally got me antibiotics and now will miss an additional day of work!

They won't return an item bought at another Walgreens because they don't carry that particular item. Walgreens, as a company, also won't return all the tax one pays if you return to another location that has a different tax. Pretty sure that's illegal. RIDICULOUS!

Slow and rude. Pharmacist does not act like he care about the customer..nor does he act like he knows ANYTHING. Would not recommend this location and all I wanted was my flu shot.
