“Nola was ill and not herself. When I called trying to see a Dr, the were able to get her in very quickly. The entire staff was amazing as usual! And Dr Vennen was his normal awesome self! He really took his time to explain everything perfectly. You can really tell from top to bottom, that everyone there really does care about your four legged family member. I would never bring Nola anywhere else!!”

Last week we had to make the rough decision to let our rat terrier, Stoli, of almost 16 years go where he would no longer suffer pain. Dr.
Edmond and Connor were there the entire time, being patient, letting us say our goodbyes, and offering more support than I could imagine.
They made a heart wrenching process, bearable. I am so extremely grateful to Clearview Vet for always being there for the good and the sad. Thank you all sooo much to the entire staff for your empathy and kindness!!”

“This vet clinic is excellent. The vet techs and staff are passionate, professional, and highly competent. Under Dr. McSweeney's care, my Great Dane, Max, lived to be more than 13 years old (which is remarkable for that breed). When Max was 12, he had a tumor so big he could hardly walk. We were preparing for the end as we didn't expect many options for a dog that age. But Dr. McSweeney surgically removed the whole tumor, and Max lived another year, happy and healthy like a much younger dog. We're extremely grateful to Dr. McSweeney and his team for that.”
“I just want to start off by saying that this animal hospital is so organized and very welcoming when it comes to fur babies. I brought my beloved Oreo here for his checkups and everyone was nothing but nice and explained any and every little thing that had to do with my precious bunny Oreo. Unfortunately due to health issues I had to put my precious fur baby down , the doctors made it as comfortable and respectful as they possibly could with my last moments with him and I will forever be grateful for that. Lastly as I grieve my Oreo , they sent their condolences though a very sweet post card and sent me his little foot prints which i will forever keep and be thankful for . It was very thoughtful . So if you’re looking for a place to fully care for your pets and also a place that is reasonably priced , this is the place . I highly recommend!”

“I'm so glad that I only live a mile or 2 from the Cat Hospital of Metairie. I started going there not long after I moved to Metairie and found my little fur baby in my backyard. His mom was an unusually sweet feral who allowed me to pick her up sometimes. I loved feeding her and watching her just relax in my fenced-in yard. One night, I saw something small scurry across the back of the yard. Lo and behold, there was my future "hairy son"! He was so tiny! I brought him in to show my husband and take a few photos. When I brought him back out, I wasn't sure who his mom was because two cats came to eat and chill in my backyard daily. I put him down by one (all black), and she hissed at him. So, I assumed the sweet feral was "mama." She and her one beautiful kitten stayed in my yard. I bought them a house, toys you name it. One day, while watching them play, the kitten got up to walk, and he was a little wobbly. My MIL was visiting, and when she saw him wobble, she said, "Oh, my, he's LOOPY." And that's how he got his name.Anyway... I'm not really sharing the subject matter involved here... Cat Hospital. Loopy was about 12 weeks old when we saw him throwing up. My husband said I'd better bring him to that place right there on Veterans (Cat Hospital). So I got a box, and Loopy and I drove to the Cat Hospital. I believe Drs. Meaux and Miller were the veterinarians at that time. Dr. Meaux saw him and was amazed at how clean he was for being outside. He had no fleas or ear mites. She said he had a very caring mom, but if I wanted to keep him, I needed to not let him back out from now on. I came home and told my husband the news, and he said to set him up in the bathroom for now. From then on, he has been my "hairy son" Loopy! We have been going to the Cat Hospital ever since. I think Loopy has seen just about every veterinarian who came and went, and they all would fall in love with him. He is truly the sweetest cat I've ever known. He did hiss at Dr. Miller once, and she apologized to him. I asked what was that all about? She said that it was her fault because she was leaning on his tail. She's so cool!!! I've never taken Loopy to any other veterinary clinic, and he is going to be 20 years old in April!!! So I guess they do good work, right?! Right!!!”
“While I am heartbroken from the loss of my cat of 13 years, who I adored and loved more than anything on this planet, Dodson and her team made me feel that I sought help in the right place. It took a few days, but in my heart I felt that the advice and options laid out for me were honest and diverse. Binx never handled the vet well, but she did good with the team at TCP and though I balled my eyes out at their facility, they took time to comfort me and have made follow ups feel personal and professional. I received a handwritten card this week in the mail that moved me, as it was a first experience to have with a Vet office. I miss her terribly, but the card helped me feel a little more at peace. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make all the difference to some. I am grateful.”

I chose this veterinary hospital due to the high reviews and now I can see why their praises are being sung. This location is also available to contact through text messaging (which is new to me when interacting with a business or facility) but proved to be beneficial due to the easy accessibility and timely replies. River Road Veterinary Hospital also has payment plans that benefit their customers with perks.
I will definitely be coming back here again and I would recommend others to do so as well. Dr. Trahan is a wonderful vet and I trust him just on the first visit. I cannot wait to work with him in the future regarding care for my dogs.”
