“The location was absolutely beautiful and the daytime, and even at night time the lighting was so good I was actually able to take a few pictures without even using flash. It's right off the service road so it's also fairly easy to find as well.”
“I'm usually not a big fan of guided tours, especially for museums, but this might be my one exception. Grace was fantastic and she's what really made this museum extra awesome. I didn't know much about pharmacy nor did I think I wanted to learn more about it but I was completely captivated by the way she taught us all of the history.”
“Nestled within the charming Garden District of Louisiana, my stay at Sully Mansion was nothing short of enchanting, with simply breathtaking interiors. Each corner, including the wonderful garden, was adorned with tasteful decorations, exuding elegance and charm. The atmosphere was so comfortable, making it the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring. From the friendly staff to the thoughtful touches, every detail contributed to the heightened experience of my trip.It not only provided a cozy haven but also added an extra layer of magic to my journey. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly exceptional accommodation in Louisiana.”
“We absolutely loved having our wedding and reception at The Jaxson! The venue is beautiful, and the team is so incredible to work with. They make planning easy, and they take the time to make sure you feel special and taken care of. We can’t recommend them enough!”
“Very nice and clean space. Everyone was so inviting and helpful. The bartender was great, and so was the food. Our pickleball wedding shower was a huge success!!”
“After a long stimulating day in The French Quarter, this Irish Cultural Museum is the PERFECT spot to sit back, relax, enjoy Irish culture and Irish coffee with or without the coffee! It's a quaint family owned and operated bar with a small yet impactful museum. Take in the images and journeys through the potato famine in Ireland which led to the flight of Irish to America. Also a great spot if you love the courtyards New Orleans is famous for.”
“The Elms was an unbelievable venue to have our wedding at. We were not sure what to fully expect, as the Elms was recommended to us from our planner, but we booked it without even seeing it ourselves (we live up north). When we saw it the day before our wedding, it totally blew us away. The photos are great but cannot do it justice. Everything was perfectly executed and our guests were in awe. We cannot recommend this venue enough!”
“We held our Track Club Sports Banquet at Kay's Place this morning. It was very spacious and fit our Banquet needs. Kay was very polite, courteous and helpful to make sure our event was a success.”
“Paradigm gardens was everything we could have dreamed of for our wedding day. Many of our wedding guests said the wedding food was the best wedding food they had ever had. The staff is amazing and are so easy to work with especially Karen. The venue is gorgeous and they do such a great job with decor. Thank yall so much!! We loved every minute of our day.”
“BK House was closed due to them cleaning up from a late night event the prior night. One of the staff members did let us in to tour the property ourselves. The staff was very friendly and its a cool house. A very distant ancestor of mine was married to the daughter of the man who had the house built so I was glad they let us come in and look around.”

333 Bourbon St 3rd Floor, New Orleans“I planned my bestie's bachelorette party in nola and decided to book a party with Sharon Hart @ Bourbon Street Balcony Rentals for dinner and a balcony experience (located at Cornet). It was the best decision EVER and ended up being my favorite part of the entire weekend. Sharon decorated our dining area with cute Mardi Gras themed masks and beads. We had a private bartender with an open bar (shout out to bartender Shay who made great drinks and blasted Spice Girls for us) and a delicious/simple buffet served by Mr. Reynard that pleased even our picky eaters of the group—he even went out on Bourbon to snap pics of us up on the balcony. Sharon also has a beads supplier who was able to pre-deliver our beads and throws, so everything was setup and ready to go for our girls. The entire party felt like a once-in-lifetime to have the balcony and to experience nola from that vantage point. It was worth every single penny and more. If you are planning a bachelor or bachelorette party... YOU NEED TO DO THIS!”
“Love this hidden GEM!!!
It's clean, the staff is nice, great atmosphere, and clean grounds!
Rooms: Each room is different, the architecture of the main house itself is breathtaking!”
“Husband and I went to The Fillmore for the first time to attend a Boney James concert which was WONDERFUL. (This was a seated concert. Not standing room only). The acoustics in this place are great and the stadium seating toward the back was comfy. The only complaint is there was no bottled water to purchase.”
“My daughter attended a 16th birthday party here. It was not the biggest space but perfect for this event. It is in the back of a neighborhood and may be a little tricky to find, but overall, it is a great spot for smaller events!”

403 Royal St, New Orleans“To start, I think my wedding was without a doubt the best night of my life thanks to Latrobe's. To us, the night was perfect. From the champagne skirt upon reception entrance, to the INCREDIBLE food, the staff dancing with everyone on the dance floor, Marte making sure we were always having fun and had a drink in hand, to Rylan at the helm of a second line to end the night. I can't even count how many people came up to us to sing praises of the Latrobe's team, but if I had to guess, it was all 120 of our guests! The Latrobe's team are some of the most wonderful people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting and we will never forget all that they did for us. I truly don't think there is a venue out there that does it better than them. We have had the time of our lives working with these wonderful people to pull off our New Orleans destination wedding and my only wish is that I can do it all over again with them every year. From the very bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything!”
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Coconut Beach Complex in Kenner, Louisiana, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. This spot offers a delightful mix of relaxation, entertainment, and vibrant tropical vibes, making it a perfect spot for both locals and tourists alike.First and foremost, the location of Coconut Beach Complex is truly unbeatable. Situated right by beautiful lake pinchatrain. The facilities at Coconut Beach Complex are top-notch. It will undoubtedly leave you with lasting memories of sun, sand, and relaxation.”
“A nice park with a walking trail, 2 Playgrounds (one is covered) a pond to feed all of the different types of ducks, geese and birds. But NO BREAD. Only cooked rice, seedless grapes, oats and corn. Bread makes them sick. We had fun here.”
“Beautiful Venue with amazing people running the place. It's the perfect place for any kind of event you want to have. It's decorated amazingly and everything is clean. Well worth the visit.”

5224 Taravella Rd, Marrero“I have had probably about 4-5 of my kids birthday party here. They make it so easy that you do not have to worry about a thing. You show up, drop what you need off in the front, and you just enjoy your kids birthday party without a worry. It is nice how you get the whole place to yourself. There are plenty of inflatables to keep all the kids busy. The room to eat and sing is the perfect size. They also do everything. I highly recommend Candyland if you are looking for a place for your kid's birthday party.”
“This is a gorgeous event venue..Its clean affordable..Ms. White is awesome...I was a bit star struck at how nice this venue is..Definitely one to place on your list..”

3811 St Charles Ave, New Orleans“Cool bar and restaurant in this fabulous hotel. We asked the manager for a quick tour, and we were delighted with the experience... Very cool to see an inside glimpse of the private patio for hotel guests, and unique features in each boutique room... So much to explore next time!”

1701 11th St, Harvey“Parking can be a challenge at night. It’s near several great restaurants and fast food places. The breakfast is typical American fair with eggs, waffles, biscuits, bagels, and grits. There’s no individual protein like sausage and bacon. The room was spacious and fit 6 comfortably. One issue was that you cannot add guests to the room without paying a fee. Supposedly it is free before checking in but the front desk is impossible to reach before check in. The phone will just ring and loop back to the main line. Pricing was high but it was worth it for comfort and safety.”

930 Tchoupitoulas St Ste A, New Orleans“Delicious food and a nice place to host a gathering. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The bread pudding for dessert was a perfect way to end the meal.”
“If you have an event in Nola you need to do it at the Firehouse Loft! If you're considering other venues, don't. The venue is gorgeous, the owner and staff are super helpful and the nicest people.Preamble: We live outside Louisiana and were coming for celebration of life for my father, New Orleans style, looking for a venue that would suit the vibe we were looking for. Once we found Firehouse we realized quickly we couldn't do it anywhere else. The Venue: Modern, yet historic. The building is a converted firehouse, as the name implies. Sean, the owner, and his team did a great job elevating the space into something modern and conversational. Every detail was done tastefully, from the art, furniture, to general flow for any event size. They typically are tailored to festive, work or personal, events but even as a celebration of life the venue was perfect. The Staff: Sean and his team were super communicative throughout the process, even going above and beyond in the planning stage and throughout the event and after. They have vendors that support any festivity and can accommodate all price points. For reference, we only rented the space and a bartender to serve wine and beer, but they ramp up options from there.I cannot say enough about both the staff and venue. It is hard to fault the space in any form. The only real criticism I could render is that the space does not have an elevator, which in the case of our party was not a problem but could be if attendees have mobility problems. The space is on the second floor so be aware of that. I know overly glowing reviews typically raise an eyebrow or two, but there is almost nothing to fault and I struggled to find one, so there you go. Again, truly appreciate Firehouse Loft and Sean's team for everything they did.”
“Once again people recommended this place for its food it was okay it was good I've had better service was good the people were friendly the place was beautiful if you're into that sort of thing definitely start by besides we look for a place every now and then to get dressed out of our regular clothes and look nice for occasion”
“Cookie the bartender was awesome. I was alone and from out of town and she made me feel very welcome when I was obviously out of place. Great vibe.
Beware, there are items being smoked inside (everything but cigarettes) so know that your clothes will smell the next day. Or something to consider if you have asthma.
Huge outdoor space with awesome smelling food.
30+ year olds only.”
“Love this place. Nice place to go and have a lil fun without a bunch of kids running all around you. It’s a game room for adults. Games are very cheap. Only .50 cents each. Pool is also only .50 cents a game. Only downfall is they only have 4 pool tables which they tend to fill up very quickly no matter what day of the week it is. It’s my go to when I’m bored and just wanna get out the house and have a lil fun. Another plus is they serve alcohol.”

610 Fulton St, New Orleans“Went on a Monday and saw the amateurs. Was a nice small comedy club and the hosts did a great job entertaining everyone and covering for the unfunny comics. We had a great time and I’d definitely recommend it to everyone.”
“Great vibes and better coffee! One of the neighbors recently started watching Leeds games there with hopes for it to catch on. They're always doing fun things and the people are wonderful”
“Nice hall, rentals available for Weddings, Receptions, Anniversary and Birthday parties. Also available for meetings. Very accommodating. New lights installed in parking lot.”
