I often shop at this thrift store and occasionally find nice clothes or other items. However, someone decided it would be a good idea to attach the price to the clothes with a metal staple. I have been scratched several times by a staple while trying something on, and often the staple leaves a hole in the fabric that will get bigger and necessitates repair. The staples are a terrible idea. Another thing that is difficult is that clothes are arranged by color rather than size, but I can live with that. Service is friendly but slow,

Very well organized and lots of clothes. My son recently started a job in a restaurant. I found 2 nice white shirts and 2 pairs of black pants...all for $20.00!! They also have a nice variety of other items including furniture in good repair! I will return!

I got some really good stuff here. Clothes mostly, although I did get furniture from their auction next door. The lines are way too long in this store, but parking is fine. I have donated a lot of things here also.

I rated this Salvation Army located on 100 Jefferson Hwy, New Orleans, La a 1- Star Rating because of the lack of "Customer Service" attention to detail and lack of it. This establishment has 4 Register but majority of the time only 2 Registers is being used. For the amout of sales volume this location does, all 4 registers should be utilize as needed. On Wednesday which is 1/2 price on cloth day there is a line basically around the store past the linen/towel section and the womens cloth section to the changing room area which is Un- Sat! I was totally amaze to see that the changing rooms has no signs on the door for how many garments you can have in the changing room at one time nor is there a sign saying the garments that you bring into the changing room must be remove by yourself prior exiting the changing room. And that the changing room should be clear of any garments left in the room, to deter theft and I suggest minimum of 5 garments per customer and if the customer has more than 5 to try on, and theres a line waiting to try on cloth, that customer needs to get behind the line and wait his/her turn! A staff member thats working the floor in that area should be monitoring the changing room and to have the keys to let the customers in. I seen to many staff members on the sales floor moving furniture and bring items to the sales floor but not enough staff members running the register to get customers In/Out in a timing manner! I watched a older gentleman walk out the store with a clear bag with nothing but cloths in them with hangers in his other hands with nobody even paying attention to him stealing right in front of the employees face! There should be more registers to begin with and if the lay out for the registers would be along the window area and theres an in/ out railing in between them...that would definitely prevent "Thief" at this location tremendously! The prices also on the tv's are marked up to high which on can spend $30 to $40 more at Walmart or a Pawn Shop and get the same one or better with a remote! I like shopping at this location for pricing on some items but some items are priced to high! This establishment is a "Thrift Shop" were we the customers buy stuff that are priced reasonable not 10 or 15 Dollars from that of it being new from the store! I was also dumbfounded that there was little kids running around the toy area without being supervised nor was any announcements being made regarding kids being left alone which is a safety hazard if the kid gets hurts while playing in the store! The staff on the registers also never greet each customer walking in the door which is not "Good Customer Service"! There need to be accountability from the Store Manager on down regarding the way this location is being run! I highly recommend that corporate look into this location asap. I will not recommend this establishment to my family or friends intill changes are made. Without "Us" as the "Customer"and the donations, you wouldn't be were you are today.

Love this place! Furniture is nice and reasonably priced. Wednesdays clothes are 50 % off, so it is always crowded.Never walk out empty handed

This place is amazing, they have a great variety of items and many are priced at a great and very inexpensive amount. I like going here because of the furniture always see an item I'd live ti have at home, can't fit them all at home but would love if I could hehe. And on top of it all I learned that they help many pelo e with addiction. That's very satisfying because I can see my dollars at work and for a great cause.
