Dr. John Trahan was incredibly personable and knowledgeable on treatment options for both Bear and Zaria. He gave helpful advice regarding any questions we possessed that related to the care of our dogs. Absolutely painless experience.
I chose this veterinary hospital due to the high reviews and now I can see why their praises are being sung. This location is also available to contact through text messaging (which is new to me when interacting with a business or facility) but proved to be beneficial due to the easy accessibility and timely replies. River Road Veterinary Hospital also has payment plans that benefit their customers with perks.
I will definitely be coming back here again and I would recommend others to do so as well. Dr. Trahan is a wonderful vet and I trust him just on the first visit. I cannot wait to work with him in the future regarding care for my dogs.

Every step of the way Henry and I felt welcomed and not rushed.
The extra touches like a personalized folder with Henry’s name and breed photo, as well as being able to check out in the room were awesome!
Dr Ben and Zoe were great and I’m so happy they are taking care of Henry.

Dr. Wheeler and the entire staff are so incredibly helpful and personable. They take their time to make sure my dog is comfortable while there, and they are patient and answer every question I have. I am so happy with every aspect of my visits here.

Everyone on staff here is absolutely lovely. Their passion and care for the animals is so apparent. Everytime I am here for an appointment for my cat it is such a wonderful time and they make the appointments as stress free for the animals as possible which is much appreciated. I truly cannot recommend them enough!

Trixie was seen as a walk-in . I was panicked as she’s 17 years old and she had an abscess. Everyone was helpful and professional.

Staff and doctor all went above and beyond to help our sick puppy. They prepared in advance to let us enter on the side entrance to minimize spread of infection. The visit, exam and treatment plan were all thorough. Ruby loved the peanut butter treat at the end. Thank you for all that you do for our pets.

I cannot thank Dr. Trahan enough. He literally spent 45 minutes with me walking me through making the best decision for my pet. When the time came to say goodbye, he and Emilie were there. They were professional, kind, and caring. You can tell they love animals like I do. Genuinely. I wish I would have found this Vet sooner, it recently came highly recommended. I also thought I was going to pay a fortune, but I did not. I found the pricing to be very fair. Thank you to these 2 gems of humans, I am very grateful. Thanks again. ❤️?
