Love working with the Specialty Pharmacy team. They are always so helpful and supportive. Location is a bit peculiar so could be confusing for a first time pickup but it is very easy to get to and from once you get the first time out of the way.

The hours of operation are not good if your planning to operate Monday-Friday the hours at be 8am-5:30pm

This is the one part of Ochsner I have worked with that is functional. The people here are helpful, friendly, able to look up what they need, or get in touch with the person who has it. If they don’t know or can’t help, they transfer you to someone who can.Every other department at Ochsner should take notes on how this are works, and learn from it.Thank you Ochsner specialty pharmacy!

i wish my insurance would let me get all of my specialty meds from here. They are amazing. It's like getting in a time machine and going back to when customer service was king!!!!

They truly go above and beyond to get you the medicine you need. They even applied for a coupon through the pharma company on my behalf (with my consent) to bring my copay to $0. Great experience all around.

Its located ALL THE WAY in the back, so drive as far back as you can, you'll see it. It just looks like a warehouse. All the staff is awesome. The reception desk ladies are always very polite and welcoming. And the pharmacists go above and beyond to get you exactly what you need. They make sure you understand every aspect of your medicine, down to the smallest detail. You get assigned your own pharmacist, so you always talk to the same person. No need to rehash your situation everytime. They also offer delivery of your medication to your house or a local pharmacy closer to you for you to pick up. About a week before your prescription runs out, they call you to set up refill pickup/delivery. They also have grants that assist in paying for medication (for those who have those super expensive ones).It's not fancy looking, but the assistance you receive here is definitely top notch.

The image you're seeing is not the specialty pharmacy. The building is located by driving all the way to the end you'll see the helicopter pad and bus 4 turning left, the location is right there...a white building. This is why Uber or Doordash keeps calling us where the specialty pharmacy located at.Just fix the image for the sake of all delivery drivers, that's all
