So they said they have a going out of business sale. I go there 1 of the bedroom sets the head board was damaged, I asked head manager if he can go down $200 he said no $100. I was going to purchase it, I'm glad I didn't because I wasn't happy with the product. I ended up going to a better place and got a better deal.

Placed a special order for a Bassett sofa and loveseat. The order was delivered two weeks later at a cost of $4,200.00. The material on the sofa did not even cover the wood frame. The loveseat (I do not even know how to describe this) that was to match the sofa was much smaller than it should have been. It much shorter in height and depth (almost like child's furniture). When I brought this to the attention of the store manager, he stated that it was special order and there was nothing he would do about it. When I asked to speak to the owner (Billy Rippner), he also stated that there was nothing he would do about it because it was special order. I stated that we would have to go to court and Mr. Rippner replied go "go ahead, I'm a lawyer too". Must be a pretty bad lawyer if he selling poor quality furniture. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT COMPASS AGAIN. Gave them one star because I had to in order to post this complaint. Glad the sob is going out of business

BUYERS BEWARE company sold me 4 rooms of defective furniture some pieces repaired 2 times within 6 mths. LOU R himself refused a refund this explains emptying warehouse of crap prices jacked up no sale you decide if you want to throw your money away HEED MY WARNING

My mother, Jackie Donaldson, purchased two chairs for me, each costing $500. We selected a fabric and had them custom-made. Although I knew the chairs would take six weeks to manufacture, I was not prepared for their condition upon delivery. Initially, I was informed that the chairs would be delivered between noon and 3 pm. However, I received a call at 10 am on the day of delivery, stating that they were on their way. I rushed home and waited for 45 minutes without any sign of delivery. As I had to return to work, I had to call a friend to wait for the delivery. When I returned home, I was shocked to see the state of the chairs. Strings were hanging out of every seam and stuffing was protruding from a few places. I immediately took a video and sent it to my sales representative, who provided me with a number to call. I contacted the number, and Compass arranged for a serviceman to inspect the chairs on the following Wednesday. Again, I had to take time off work. When the service person arrived, he admitted that he did not know how the chairs had passed inspection. Although he assured me that the chairs were made correctly and that I had a one-year warranty on them, he still had to turn the chairs over to inspect them. One of the chairs had a big hole in the black covering on the bottom. When the service person asked me if I wanted him to return at another time to fix the hole, I said no, and requested that he fix it immediately. He covered the hole with a patch. Later that evening, I noticed that one of the legs on the chair was crooked. I thought maybe it wasn’t screwed in correctly, but that is not the case.Buyer Beware!I would NOT recommend Compass Furniture to anyone.

Bought dining table and 4 chairs. Later wanted to buy 2 more chairs but not available. After a year one leg of one of the chair started to wobble. When I checked underneath the chair, I found many screws are missing. Checked other chairs and they had all screws.

So my new sofa was delivered yesterday from Compass Furniture. It was a special order, and all I had to pic the color from was the image shown below. I picked cloud the color on the right, which is also shown on the receipt. The sofa arrives, shown in the image below. I would call light gray. I set up a meeting with the store manager, and I was told the cloud color shown in the image to the right is what I got, and there's nothing she can do. Looks like light gray to me. On line three of the invoice, the sales associate even wrote dark cloud. It's Lawsuit time! Do not do business with this company.

Racist, rude, dismissive and completely dismissive of good customer service. My cousin had a terrible experience with this company. Bought a set for $5k, one item came chipped, they refused to replace it, wanted to repair. A brand NEW set, told her the piece that was broken was only worth $1k. Excuse me but $1k is still money that ppl work for.She didn't want a repaired set, she wanted a new so asked them to just come pick it up. And gave detailed instructions on when she would be home. Which was around 5 like most working people. They came at 11am and refused to come back. Because...why? Who knows. they do not seem to be reasonable or even accommodating when they mess up. Then refused to come back and told her she wouldn't be harassing them if they were a black company. No one even mentioned race at any point expect Compass furniture.Completely outrageous and just sad really. People should not have to fight to be treated fairly after spending good money.

Brand new bedroom set was Delivered damaged and they wanted to repair it. I paid for a new bedroom set not a refurbished bedroom set. The representative became hostile when I explained that to them. Horrible customer service. I would not shop here again nor do I recommend this company to anyone. Buyer beware ☠️

Racist racist racist!!! Black people stay away from Lou Rippner Compass Furniture I had damaged furniture that was delivered and asked for a replacement - after Compass Furniture not agreeing to a replacement I asked to come and pick up the furniture. They sent a delivery truck to my home and knew I was not home (we discussed a time that I would be home) they intentionally sent drivers to my home knowing I was not home and then stated "we can not come back out" Also Lou Rippner states on the phone "if this was a black company you wouldn't be harassing them like you are harassing me" Harrassing?? I'm asking for what was entitled to me after spending over 5K on a bedroom set Do better Lou Rippner and Crystal!! You should be ashamed to treat a customer as you did!!
