TLDR; John saved my ass when my cpap broke on a trip, even after hours.
I arrived in New Orleans preparing to get on a Royal Caribbean Cruise the next day. That night, my cpap died due to being dropped at the airport.
Saturday morning, I called and left a message, needing to buy a cpap for my trip.
John called me back and offered to meet me at his store that morning. Luckily, I had a friend with me who works in the medical industry, and he wrote me a prescription on the spot for a new cpap.
John sold me a refurbished top of the line resmed air11 for an extremely good price. He was courteous, friendly, and went out of his way to help us when no one else was even open. I can't say enough good things about John and how grateful I am for his compassion on my situation.
This is the guy everyone should go to for your durable medical equipment.
John will take care of you 150%.
If I could give 6 stars, I would give him 6. Everyone should call John!!!

I was visiting New Orleans from Houston for the weekend, when my buddy realized he had forgotten a vital and essential piece of his CPAP machine that is needed to attach the hose to the mask. So, anyway, we google where to find a supplier and went to AllStar, the lady that assisted us was so kind and understanding, that she gave us free piece , I will definitely be back if we ever need anything, great customer service

I was in town for the weekend and somehow I forgot a piece to my CPAP machine. I google medical supplies and this location came up do we drive to All star medical to purchase what I needed and after speaking to the friendly staff the young woman told me she know what I needed and GAVE me the connection piece I left at home! She was such a blessing!! I totally recommend this business!

This place really helped me out when I was in a bind. I couldn’t find any place in the city that had a walking boot for sale and available outside of the doctor. Also, the place did not charge me an arm leg for the boot when I needed it the most. The price of the boot was under $100.

I was on vacation when I needed a piece of equipment. I called John and he took care of me within minutes. Excellent. I recommend All-Star medical to everyone in the New Orleans and in the United States area.

I was visiting friends in New Orleans when I discovered that one of my cpap mask nasal pillows had come off my mask and become lost. I’ve used cpap since 2006, so after struggling through one night without my cpap, I realized that I needed immediate help for the rest of my visit. I spoke with John on the phone this morning. He was very polite and courteous. They did not have the replacement pillow for my mask, but he said if I came in, they could help me with a replacement mask in my emergency. I wasn’t planning on buying a whole new mask, but in the emergent situation, I had no other option. John was very helpful with information on the masks they had available and helped me find one that would be great. I really appreciate this business and how professional and helpful they were! We were on vacation and husband's CPAP straps broke. Called and left a message and they called back quickly after hours. They met at the store and opened to get us what we needed so husband wouldn't have to be without his machine on the cruise!! Very nice that they did that for us. Highly recommend them!!!

The owners of this business go above and beyond for customers. We were traveling through the area when a piece of my CPAP mask broke. I have an older style mask and they searched through their extra supplies to find a replacement.

To the workers at All Star they are a wonderful company to get your supplies from even if you're not with their company they will help you by any means necessary they are for the people that in need of medical equipment so please by all means if need medical equipment I really suggest that you go to All Star medical equipment on Jefferson highway hours are 9 to 4:00

As an out of stater spending over a week in New Orleans without a part for my CPAP, I thought I was going to be up a crick without a paddle. Cara was amazing with her customer service! So glad I spent the time looking AllStar up. Thank you, Cara!

Horrible customer service. The lady behind the counter is rude, incompetent and unprofessional. She needs to take a course in customer service relations.
