“Took my cat Jerry here while I lived in Houma. Every experience was positive; literally everyone who interacted with Jerry (and me) was incredibly gentle, understanding, and very professional. The kind people at the front desk remembered Jerry's name and it was clear that everyone here is an animal lover.
Quick story: my Jerry had some health issues that required frequent visits for a short period. I was still quite new to pet ownership at the time and because Jerry hated being in the carrier, I would simply hold him whenever we visited Marcello. After one visit, a nurse quietly took me aside and explained why transporting a cat without a carrier was dangerous and advocated that despite Jerry's protests, I should still always prioritize his safety and use the carrier. The nurse was extremely calm, professional, and clearly had Jerry's wellbeing in mind. What could have been an embarrassing confrontation actually became a useful and memorable teaching moment that stuck with me.
I'm very grateful for my time spent with this vet and if I find myself living in Houma again, I will certainly return.”
