“Usually when I visit, the store is generally in stocking mode. In that regard, today was no different. There was one thing that really stuck an impressive chord with me today, however. Unlike the usual bland assistance, the young black lady who worked as cashier was exceptional. I observed her assist a few people who were ahead of me. She was very pleasant, patient and somewhat delightful. There have been times I've asked myself, "Why do you keep stopping here?" Well, today was the day, even though it was pouring rain outside; thanks to this young lady, the sun was shining brightly inside. Perhaps that's what I was waiting for. “I absolutely love this neighborhood walmart. Friendly helpful staff busting their butts to assist anyone in need. Fresh food, self checkout, you're in and out in a flash even right aft hurricane ida tore through us. It was the only place I know of in terrebonne parish who made sure people had a way to buy food, cold drinks, bread, fresh water, and most of all free WiFi for people who no longer had the ability to contact family and friends ? Much appreciated”

“My favorite store to get quality name brand clothing at a fraction of the retail cost. They also have great deals on hand tools, Hardware, small electronics such as speakers headphones and earbuds, and colognes and perfumes. This is also my favorite place to buy name brand shoes such as nike, Puma, reebok, and more. I don't believe I've ever paid more than $50 for a pair of brand new shoes that would retail or triple that price.”
“5/30/2020 at 7:30pm Today the lady was by herself and had a line but I can say she stood her ground and still had excellent customer service with a great smile on her face. Through it all she was still able to make me smile as a customer and get me out very fast even during her work hardship.. Thank you”
“This dollar general has alot of choices for such a small store. Same as most dollar generals. Easy to find things. Very nice and helpful staff. Not enough employees tho. As with most stores of this kind you do have to wait a few mins to check out because they only have 1 register open when they have 3 of them.”

“It’s a nice store. Attentive and friendly employees. But it’s not my cup of tea. Almost everything is made in China. I know that’s hard to get away from these days, but Home Goods takes it to a whole new level. Nevertheless, the Houma store is very nice, and well organized.”
