I bought two items at Brookshires in Haughton, La on Texas Street yesterday., a tomatoe and a bag of grapes. The total came up to over $13. I questioned the charge and when it was all said and done the actual price was determined to be just over $6. You see when the cashier weighed the grapes he had his hand weighing down the scale. He apologized and seemed sincere, but this same scenario has happened before with my wife at this same store. So I have to ask is this a coincidence or is this a practice promoted by the store. I don't trust this store any longer and recommend everyone shopping there to pay attention to what your product prices are when checking out.

Literally the nastiest bathrooms ive ever seen. The plumbing backs up into the bathroom, there's poop on seats, stall walls, in the trashcans. The toilet seats are always covered in pee, blood, poop. It never smells nice. Not expecting it to always smell like roses, but smelling nice should be common sense! There's hardly ever soap in the soap dispenser. If the bathrooms are this bad, I couldn't even imagine how the freezers and food areas in the back are kept! Gross!!

Talked with Anthony about crawfish and he was very nice and polite. The crawfish were great and had good size to them. Will buy from them again in the future. Thanks a lot Brookshires.

Went to the customer service desk after buying groceries to get a money order. Waited for well over 5 minutes, had no less than 4-5 employees walk past me, 1 even went in the customer service area to get a pack of cigarettes, no one acknowledge me or tried to find help. Finally stopped an employee and was told the person working the customer service desk could not be paged because they were outside. Teach your employees the importance of customer service!

Cashier was an A hole. Didn't speak, when she asked if I had a number she said " what's your number" in a snarling voice. Then when she gave me my receipt she said " here".

I am sure the Brookshire family made a ton of money selling their pharmacy's to Walgreens but for those patrons it was a huge mistake.! Our pharmacy service has gone from an A+ with the old Brookshires Pharmacy to a F- with Walgreens, thanks a lot.!!
