Very difficult to cancel auto and renters insurance. Was told to cancel in writing, which I did. Then I was told he needed my new insurance declarations page to cancel my policy, which is not necessary. I have switched insurance many times and that was never a requirement to cancel my insurance. Even after I sent what he requested, he told me that my insurance is canceled but may be kicked back because I didn’t follow his instructions. I clearly have email proof that I followed his instructions. I will never do business with State Farm again. Not a good experience.

Tonia was great to work with today. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone on the phone who has been more helpful. She eased my fears and found a solution that I can deal with. I don’t know what I would have done without her

I had the pleasure of working with Tonia today and she was absolutely delightful. My sister is actually the State Farm customer and she had made an error in payment to State Farm and Citizens. She actually reversed payment between the two companies and it was imperative that this issue be resolved. My sister ( the client) is currently hospitalized and was in no condition to rectify the problem. Tonia was so attentive, professional and kind. She immediately recognized the complexity of the situation and advised me of the steps that needed to be taken. This included issuing a payment reversal/ refund and then accepting a new payment in a new amount. This was not a simple phone call and involved two different companies. This problem was a significant one and Tonia handled it like The true professional she is. Her care and concern for my sister in the hospital Was recognized immediately. Tonia was calming and so knowledgeable. She was able to explain to me in a clear, concise manner how I could most easily rectify the situation. Tonia's positive, sincere, professional attitude and manner need to be recognized. This wonderful human being needs to be recognized for her work ethic and attention to detail. Tonia and her actions reflect on State Farm in a most positive way. She is an asset to your company. Wonderful experience!

A wonderful experience. Courteous, thoughtful, respectful and professional employees. The receptionist (Connie) was polite and friendly. Mr. Don P. Wilson was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and very thorough in explaining every detail about my policy/car insurance and switching from Progressive to State Farm. Mr. Wilson was kind enough to asked if I needed any home owner or rental insurance that he could assist me with now or in the future. I am definitely rating my experience with State Farm in Harvey, Louisiana a 5 out of 5 stars.
