Sunday 11/26/23 I went to the Harvey branch to make a quick outside deposit. It is smaller than the Westwego branch. My former visit was inside. Everyone was courteous,& professional. Regardless of which branch I go to I ❤️this credit union.

They are the worst for direct deposits being posted on the first. If a holiday or weekend falls on the first do not count on receiving your direct deposit on the first. Let me give you an example of this. Labor Day is on a Monday and if the first of September is a Saturday you will NOT get your direct deposit retirement check that been deposited into your account for over 10 years until Tuesday September 4th. If you had bills due on the 1st thru the 3rd they will be late! They are the only Credit Union that does this. My friends and family closed their accounts with this Credit Union years ago and they bank with a regular bank and they ALWAYS have their money before me and 3 of the direct deposits come from the same Company and the other 4 come from different companies. No matter how long you been with them and you really need them they will view you as a # only and then turn on their banking policies and not credit union policies. However, when they needed the customers to keep them operating as a credit union they spoke softly. They are just a little bank covered with credit union status. Programs designed to help certain customers have long disappeared. If you want a boat, let em have it, if you have an unexpected emergency that you need $1 for, Declined no matter how long you been there, your situation. or how well you paid them back. You must have that # . You are just a # and usually that don’t reveal the truth.

I had an appointment at 1130 today just to sign documents at least it what I was told. I came in early to assure I wasn’t there very long like usual. For some weird reason this took over 35 to complete. Which is horrible. When I go to the Carrollton branch it NEVER takes this long even with fewer employees. Customer service is good but Carrollton is GREAT

Is it policy to ask, "Is this check real?" When he entered the bank Saturday, the teller left my husband feeling like he had been discriminated against because of his color and how he was dressed. As a member of the credit union for 11 years, my husband expects better. And this was not the first time that he's been met with suspicion at ASI. Over the years, my husband has had great experiences banking with ASI, but recently, there have been too many offensive interactions for us to keep quiet about it. We hope that ASI reviews customer relation policies with their employees and that in the future they treat all of their customers the same, with respect and professionalism.

Its horrible to get into the parking lot and back out because of where they're actaully placed before the red light cross street is Manhattan Blvd. It's packed during mon-friday from around the times of 5:15p.m.-6:45p.m. so don't go to the bank there at that time unless you have no choice. Their drive thru is also weird to maneuver through.
