We had this company install sheetrock, moldings and do painting. We are very disappointed with the work that they did. They did not pay attention to detail. For example, they did not take into account the vanity drawers when they put up the sheetrock in the bathroom. The drawers did not open and then made excuses. Molding angles were not cut properly. Painting was sloppy. Caulking was poorly done. Chipped the ceramic tile in the bathroom. Chipped floor in hallway. Left paint on the floor, got paint on my bathroom vanity, got paint on a cabinet. Left dings in sheetrock. I am disgusted. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The owner is Shaimon Simmons. We got his company through Home Depot.Service: Installation

I had some old kitchen cabinets, but they were made of wood, and I didn't want to replace them with modern kitchen cabinets that are not made of wood. I wanted to paint them, but I needed somebody to do a good job. Agape Home Remodeling caught my attention. Shaimon, the owner, had also replaced my front columns in the past, and I was very happy with the results. So, this time Shaimon did an excellent job. He took his time because he was very detailed. He first cleaned the cabinets, then he sanded them, and finally he painted them twice. The result was superb. Now my cabinets look brand new. They are awesome. I recommend him for just about any job. He also keeps his word.

I felt like my home was in good hands. The owner showed up on time and went into clear detail of what need to happen for my repair to go smoothly. He didn’t have a problem with me watching and made it very educational. I would not recommend this company. Shaimon seemed nice, but the guy he appointed to provide an estimate rescheduled his first appointment an hour before the appointment, and then was a no show for the second appointment.

Shaimon was great! My kitchen sink is undermounted and it detached from the counter top which was granite. I had been trying for WEEKSSSS to get someone to repair this. No one would touch it. Then I called Shaimon, I told him what was going on with the sink and that i was trying to get it fixed ASAP (summer time, the kids out of school, with no sink in the kitchen…it was crazy!) So he scheduled me the next to come out and do a estimate, he took a look at everything, provided the estimate which I felt was very fair and affordable, and he came back the very next day! I thought I was going to have to wait a few days. But he came back the next day! He brought the material needed with him which was very convenient for me! Cleaned up the area, reinstalled the proper supports and brackets for my sink, resealed the sink, and even made sure my garbage disposal was working properly because I thought something was wrong with it! But everything was fine! Y’all I’m so glad I came across this company, the professionalism was a 10 out of 10! Definitely going to keep as a go to for all my future repairs!Services: Repair water fixtures

We hired Agape to install new ceiling drywall and insulation after Hurricane Ida caused significant damage in our home. We are tremendously pleased with their excellent work. My son is a neighbor of Shiman proprietor of AGAPE Home Remodeling and General Construction LLC. My son had some work done at his home, as well as my son's mother in law. The reviews from them was commendable. I decided to hire this young man for my project. I can say without a doubt I'm more than pleased. Shiman and his crew is professional, neat and timely. The cost of project was reasonable and within my budget. Shiman's business name is an expression of his compassion and unconditional love for his craft. The biblical meaning for "AGAPE" means: unconditional love" which Shiman and his staff demonstrates in their professional attention given. I gave five stars but deserves more!! We discovered Agape through Home Depot Pro Referral services and so glad we did. Shaiman and his team were professional, courteous, and went above and beyond in doing the painting and wood repair at our home. The price for the work was reasonable and we are very pleased with how the repairs and home painting turned out. We will not hesitate to use this company again for work that we need done at our home.

Shaimon Simmons, owner of Agape LLC, is highly recommended by me. I found him thru HomePro (Home Depot) and he was the first to respond, the first to be able to come out. He confirmed appointment the morning of, showed up on time, tackled the job with professionalism, perfectionism, experience, and personality. He took every care to get it right and I would recommend him to my friends.

This review is for Shaimon Simmons, owner of Agape. He was one of 3 contractors recommended thru HomePro at Home Depot. He was the first to contact me and was available to help within 48 hrs. I couldn't have been happier to find Shaimon. He was able to come the next day, arrived on time, had all the tools necessary to do the job, was professional, very concerned with getting it right, experienced in what I needed done, personable. He did an excellent job of hanging my 59" shelves on plaster walls - something the first handyman couldn't handle. With no way to detect studs, this had to be done in a way that anchored it well. I recommend Shaimon Simmons with Agape heartily and it is good to know he will be able to help with future issues.
