“I attended a sweet 16 birthday brunch at this location, it was clean inside and decorated nicely and the Shriners that work there were very pleasant. It's a nice place to hold a small party or small wedding reception.”

“As a pharmacist, I definitely geeked out when I saw this museum! I loved looking at all the equipment and medications that were used in the past — and are even still used today! There are two full stories of great pharmacy history. On top of it all, the courtyard is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy some of NOLA’s natural beauty.”

“I loved the food here, simple yet very flavorful and light but filling. I dont really understand why they call themselves family style, the portions were good for one, but maybe order multiple things to share.I had the ricotta and foccacia appetizer and the ala vodka pasta. The ricotta was flavorful and that bread was the best foccacia ive ever had. They lightly salted the bread which helped the flavor pop in my taste buds. The ala vodka was delicious and i finished the whole plate.I saw other guests eating the pizza which looked good for one (or share for two) but definitely order at least one dish per person like a regualr restaurant. Service was perfect. Very attentive and helpful staff. The restaurant has a grand open design with ample indoor and outdoor shed seating. Bathroom was very cleanWell managed restaurant totally worth the 20 minute walk from the french quarterVegetarian options: PizzaPasta ala vodkaRicotta appetizer”

“I’m gonna leave this place five stars because of how cute it is, the staff was awesome, and very accommodating, the food looked really good, even though we didn’t eat any. they had a decent bar. What I caution,…. is imagine everybody getting off of Bourbon Street and going to the bowling alley. There were a lot of very annoying people there. Very loud and obnoxious. The staff did the best job they could have trying to keep the crazies with the crazies and the Normie‘s with the Normie’s.”

“I would highly recommend the Canal Street Inn to anyone visiting New Orleans. The location in Mid-City is off the beaten path and allowed us to explore an area less frequented by tourists. Its location also gave us easy access to the streetcar to explore the city. Monica and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious!”

“My wife and I were in NOLA for Mardi Gras. We were staying in the Hyatt, and Dennis recommended Coppervine. After being seated by Yanna, she suggested that we have the pork belly, oysters ,and crabcaks. The pork belly and oysters - FANTASTIC. The crabcaks made my top 5.”

“Latrobe’s hosted our wedding ceremony and reception in April 2023, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. The staff goes above and beyond to take care of the finer details and puts you at ease throughout the process — they’re responsive, thoughtful, and give your wedding the love and attention it needs to thrive. The historic space is such a crowd pleaser and has a genuine New Orleans feel. Wedding decisions are always tough, but Latrobe’s will always absolutely be the right decision.”

“It's a cute little gem we found while visiting, and their whiskey collection in the back is pretty good after you walk through their small museum room. It's different from an extensive museum that will take 2 hours or anything like that. It's a small room. The courtyard is lovely. You can enjoy your drink in that area. The space with the bar also has a few seats. The museum is just a roo. m not very big”

We received wonderful compliments from all of our guests. Wendell provided us with a fabulous tasting, and the food was even better at the wedding. “Great location for the hotel and updated amenities make it a great option when staying in NOLA. I used the JW during the most recent Mardi Gras. The location right next to the parade route made it a breeze to walk out into the festivities. Great customer service during the check in process and a well-stocked concierge lounge.Walkability: Great proximity to other hotels, good nearby food options.”

“It's a lovely Grecian style structure with a big lawn in front of it. We went to see the new orleans philharmonic orchestra play. If you're ever around for that it's worthwhile. Take some food and drink and a blanket and have a nice evening. Not really worth going to see just to see though. There's plenty of other great things in the park that make it a good place to go though.”

“I have had probably about 4-5 of my kids birthday party here. They make it so easy that you do not have to worry about a thing. You show up, drop what you need off in the front, and you just enjoy your kids birthday party without a worry. It is nice how you get the whole place to yourself. There are plenty of inflatables to keep all the kids busy. The room to eat and sing is the perfect size. They also do everything. I highly recommend Candyland if you are looking for a place for your kid's birthday party.”

“If you have an event in Nola you need to do it at the Firehouse Loft! If you're considering other venues, don't. The venue is gorgeous, the owner and staff are super helpful and the nicest people.Preamble: We live outside Louisiana and were coming for celebration of life for my father, New Orleans style, looking for a venue that would suit the vibe we were looking for. Once we found Firehouse we realized quickly we couldn't do it anywhere else. The Venue: Modern, yet historic. The building is a converted firehouse, as the name implies. Sean, the owner, and his team did a great job elevating the space into something modern and conversational. Every detail was done tastefully, from the art, furniture, to general flow for any event size. They typically are tailored to festive, work or personal, events but even as a celebration of life the venue was perfect. The Staff: Sean and his team were super communicative throughout the process, even going above and beyond in the planning stage and throughout the event and after. They have vendors that support any festivity and can accommodate all price points. For reference, we only rented the space and a bartender to serve wine and beer, but they ramp up options from there.I cannot say enough about both the staff and venue. It is hard to fault the space in any form. The only real criticism I could render is that the space does not have an elevator, which in the case of our party was not a problem but could be if attendees have mobility problems. The space is on the second floor so be aware of that. I know overly glowing reviews typically raise an eyebrow or two, but there is almost nothing to fault and I struggled to find one, so there you go. Again, truly appreciate Firehouse Loft and Sean's team for everything they did.”

“A quick safe walk from the over-the-top part of the French quarter, Comedy House New Orleans is chic as heck, full of top local and touring talent, jam packed with laughs.100% recommend especially if you are doing the the "eat as much local food as possible trip" you can easily/cheaply check off all your NOLA food tourism at the pub next door and laugh your way through a food coma during the show.”

“Tons of fun to be had at this really cool axe throwing house. I had never done it before so I was a bit reluctant but when my friend asked me to come I decided I would give it a chance and I end up having a lot of fun. Though when I heard the offer drinks I did think that would be a great idea but I did have a margarita and thankfully no-one was hurt and only fun was had. ????”

“Absolutely beautiful venue! Catering people and Bar Tender were professional, friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, my Husband LOVED the cookies, I was partial to the Chicken pasta-really great sauce! Decorations were classy and high quality (not balloons and also not "over the top"). This definitely felt like a first class affair! It's not often I'm thankful for an invite to a party where I knew absolutely no one who was going to be there except my Husband, but this venue definitely made, even me, feel comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Sharon was absolutely incredible in helping me plan two big events with 100+ people over the past couple years. She made the planning process very easy and smooth, gave us great advice on where to go and what to do during our stay, and ultimately gave us the best experience with venue, food, drinks, and music. Would HIGHLY recommend using her and this company if you have any events in New Orleans. I am definitely going to go to her for the next one!”

“Always loved this place . I used to come here a lot when I lived in New Orleans. Just revisited it on my stay in New Orleans at the Hotel. The atmosphere has not changed and the Bartenders are still very personable . Great place to get a drink and enjoy some good conversation. Non alcoholic IPA is my favorite.”

“Me and a few of my family members came to New Orleans for the weekend and the Exchange only had 1 open play during the time we were available and it was for Advanced Beginners. Most of us are actually intermediate and when we got there, so were several other players, however, none of us seemed to mind playing with people that were either higher or lower level than us. I think there was only 1 person there that wasn't too friendly. They have a paddle stacking system and open play was on two courts. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to us. The interior is gorgeous - 6 indoor and 1 outdoor courts, a bar, kitchen, ping pong table and plenty of seating. The inside looks a little small for large parties - outside might be more accommodating. I'm from Texas, so we're used to big spaces! For sure we will be back next time we come to NOLA!”
