I've seen many shows at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium and was happy to see so many familiar touches. From the open floor to the chandeliers to the free posters and red apples. Venue is well laid-out. Excellent bathrooms, merch location, friendly and helpful staff.”
“Wonderful atmosphere, clean and spacious facilities including restrooms, warm & friendly staff & players, skilled pickleball games, and extremely welcoming people are a short list of excellent things to name about this facility. If I were to split hairs and find something needing improvement, I would say that there could be even more courts, and that it’s difficult to get into(because it’s an awesome place to socialize and play pickleball). However, once one secures a spot, get ready to experience friendliness and great competition! I got the pleasure of being introduced to the owner, Renee, and her husband, both of whom were outgoing, friendly, and welcoming! I loved my experience here, and even made new friends! Thank you Exchange for making the best of the unfortunate weather situation, and providing an enjoyable activity in spite of it! “Really great tour by our guide Carolyn (a volunteer who works Mondays). Not only do you learn about the house but you also learn a lot about the history of New Orleans. The history discussion starts with the land the house sits on being granted to 2 sisters by the King of France and rolls forward from there. Very interesting and highly recommended. Tours begin on the hour.”
“It was nice wedding set up, but the dance floor was uneven I spent the whole night worrying if I would trip and fall like walking down the street in New Orleans or where I live in SF the sidewalks are uneven. The mansion is beautiful as well as the grounds”

The entire inn was beautiful, the breakfast each day was delicious, and we truly couldn't be happier with how the inn played into our celebration. “They put grown folks out at 12 when kids are terrorizing the city all hrs of the day and night. It's a casino and should at lease be open later at lease till 2am. Than to have numerous machines that's been out of service for months to still be in there is ridiculous let alone numerous machines with buttons broken don't work or u can't play certain amount do to buttons been broke! The board of commission needs to start inspecting these casinos ? here in New Orleans and surrounding parishes. Folks go to these places to try and win taking chances gambling and for these machines to not be operating right or fix is a slap in the face to gamblers. What rights does gamblers have beside not revisiting the place? The buttons jam don't press etc it's dead wrong. They shouldn't be in the casino if their not working! Remove and replace with something else.”
“Irish whiskey selection is awesome and it s chill environment. I spoke to Mike the manager who was working that day and he was a chill dude with great recommendations. Cassandra is one of the employees who was hanging out on the off day which speaks highly to the establishment when an employee wants to be there on their day off.”

“A nice park with a walking trail, 2 Playgrounds (one is covered) a pond to feed all of the different types of ducks, geese and birds. But NO BREAD. Only cooked rice, seedless grapes, oats and corn. Bread makes them sick. We had fun here.”
“Spent a Saturday night on NOLA with the family. Good location, right on Canal St. and just a couple of blocks from Bourbon St. Had a couple of drinks at the hotel bar and they were delicious. Would definitely stay next time in NOLA.”

“Cool bar and restaurant in this fabulous hotel. We asked the manager for a quick tour, and we were delighted with the experience... Very cool to see an inside glimpse of the private patio for hotel guests, and unique features in each boutique room... So much to explore next time!”
“The staff is excellent and were very helpful, especially the lady who was at the front desk in the mornings whose name started with an M. I think it was Monica.
Parking is $50.60 and charged seperately but that seems pretty standard for New Orleans and is actually an ok deal if the nearby lots are charging event rates.
Only deducted a star because the fridge is tiny and there's no microwave in the room. The only microwave on the entire floor is in the laundry room.”
“I haven't been here in a decade or more. The place is clean and well kept. The lanes had oil on them unlike some places that also have bowling. The order of fries from the snack bar were hot and crispy. It seemed like the arcade is fun though I didn't play. I didn't like giving 5 stars on an initial visit but I can't really say anything bad about the visit. Of course, I feel like the price of bowling is horrible, but I'm old and sure it's competitive with other places.”

“Saw Twilight in Concert here and loved every minute! The Mahalia Jackson Theater is a great mid-size venue. It's big enough to feel exciting, but still intimate so there’s really no bad seat in the house. The sound was great, staff were friendly, and there’s plenty of nearby street parking which made things super easy. Perfect spot for a concert or show night!”
“Great place to take your little ones over summer break. Not busy during weekday mornings. Staff very knowledgeable about policies and nice. Nice cold AC when you’re tired of the zoo. Haven’t tried the coffee but it’s so nice to have the option. I swear it’s so relaxing I could bring my laptop and get an hour of work done while the kids play right in front of me.”
“I have had probably about 4-5 of my kids birthday party here. They make it so easy that you do not have to worry about a thing. You show up, drop what you need off in the front, and you just enjoy your kids birthday party without a worry. It is nice how you get the whole place to yourself. There are plenty of inflatables to keep all the kids busy. The room to eat and sing is the perfect size. They also do everything. I highly recommend Candyland if you are looking for a place for your kid's birthday party.”
“Words cannot express how thankful we are for Latrobe’s and how AMAZING our wedding was. 6 months before our wedding, our original venue had to cancel on us and we were left scrambling. We reached out to Latrobe’s and they helped us out tremendously and worked out any problems we had. Rylan answered our many many phone calls and questions, and was so incredibly helpful. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. I had no stress at all and all the employees were INCREDIBLE. They always made sure we were okay, had food, and a drink in our hands! I’m so thankful our original venue canceled because we got to have the wedding of our dreams at Latrobe’s. Thank you thank you thank you!!!”

On paper, the idea is you pay 20 bucks to tour the home with her to scout it as a wedding (or party) venue; but do not be deceived: this is a house of centuries of history, as well as a lifetime of Bonnie's own personal stories. From family stories of GREAT intrigue, to a showcase of decades worth of passion projects in the dollhouses, someone like me felt as though I was peering into a time and culture I'd never be exposed to otherwise. For 20 bucks, I'd say a lasting impression is worth it.”

“I arrived at the hotel for business reasons I only spent two days very clean room, I remember that I got lost in the hallway and I asked a girl and she showed me where my room number was, highlighting that the next day I saw her again near breakfast and asked her name to be able to give a good opinion of her since she was polite and kind her name is Dailen a thousand thanks to her my wife and I were very quiet in the hotel, when I return to Kenner I will stay at the hotel because it highlighted very good location for everything you need”
“Cookie the bartender was awesome. I was alone and from out of town and she made me feel very welcome when I was obviously out of place. Great vibe.
Beware, there are items being smoked inside (everything but cigarettes) so know that your clothes will smell the next day. Or something to consider if you have asthma.

“We had our wedding event here and everything was amazing. My wife and I would like to thank Jenna(operations manager) and Kimberly(event manager) for working us from day one. They made sure they helped us every step of the way. Thank you to Stephanie and Erin( our bridal attendants ) for making sure we always had food and drinks in our hand.
