“I shipped a variety of furniture and boxes to my son in Lubbock from New Orleans. Joe Diamond was the Maloney agent that handled my shipment. He was very responsive, gave me a good price and handled all of the details over the phone and by text. He kept me informed of the status from beginning to end. The pick up of the furniture was right as scheduled and was professionally handled by four very nice guys. The shipment arrived at the destination within the original estimate and the driver contacted me 24 hours out and then again 3 hours out so I could prepare my son to receive the shipment. The driver arrived within an hour of his estimate and unloaded everything without any problems. Overall this was an excellent experience for me and my son and I would not hesitate to recommend Maloney and I would definitely use them again for my interstate moving needs.”

“First of all, I appreciated the promptness in the response from Pack Rat. My pod was delivered very quickly, and was also picked up very quickly after it was filled. I felt very confident that it was in good hands while it was in storage. When it came time to be returned, I was extremely surprised at how wonderful the service was. First of all they scheduled my drop off very quickly, and on the morning of my delivery, I could not believe what a wonderful driver (Reggie) they sent. I could not believe how precisely he was able to park the container in my driveway. It was like he was parking a compact car!! When he picked it up today, it was the same situation…he was gone in about 10 minutes.. He was very professional and friendly. I found Pack Rat was extremely easy to work with, and if i ever need storage services in the future, Pack Rat will be my first choice.”

“We had Abba move us in March and were very pleased with our movers until we found a large scratch and gouge on our coffee table. There are minor scratches and rub marks on other smaller pieces of furniture. We had to unpack our large TV and set it on the stand because they forgot to do that. On the positive side, our movers arrived on time and got to work immediately. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the move. We paid extra for shrink wrap, and larger pieces of furniture are in great shape. Overall, the process of moving with Abba was smooth and efficient. We were surprised to find the damage to the coffee table and the unpacked TV after the movers had left.”

“We were super happy with the customer service at U-Pack. We were always able to get a human on the phone and communication was clear and easy. No problems with scheduling, pick up, or delivery. The pods were smaller than we realized (also weirdly tall?), so we maybe should have ordered one more than we did. But overall, great experience.”

“I went back-and-forth between three and five stars. Initially, I was giving this company three stars because of the fact that I was given inconsistent information. On the date of pick up, the truck came without notice. I was not home, had not secured my contents, and had my personal lock on the outside. I called ABF Freight and the person who assisted me didn’t seem very interested or concerned about my predicament. The man that I spoke with said they do not call or schedule a specific time for pick-up, which I find to be odd considering the fact that I could’ve been still loading things onto the truck that morning. They assume when the date arrives for your pickup, the truck should be ready to go. However, shortly after my call, the driver returned. He had only gone a couple of miles but I was still concerned that some things had shifted. He opened up the back, and I was so surprised that everything was still intact. Even he was happy that none of my things had been damaged.The reason for the five stars is because the driver, Shane, helped so much with relieving my stress. He was so calm and assisted me with securing my contents and putting up the bulkheads and the ramp. He did much more than I’m actually expressing/explaining. I generously tipped him because I sincerely appreciated how he handled the confusion and my anxiety. I wish all drivers would display the professionalism, consideration, and empathy for customers as Shane. He is one of the very few type of workers that you actually run into these days when it comes to doing business. He is definitely an asset to the company and a blessing to the customers’ that he serves.Another reason for the five stars is the fact that the shipment arrived 4-5 days earlier than expected. They picked up the trailer in LA on March 7 and expected to arrive in AZ between March18-20. It arrived on March 13 (although I was still in Louisiana) but the representative said, I still had my 7 to 9 days that was promised and it would remain at their yard until I got into town.Side note: we followed the directions and watched a video, but and the ramp did not seem very secure, and would move slightly. There was nowhere to hook it so it could only be placed flat against the back of the truck, which didn’t seem to be very secure. However, we managed to get everything loaded safely.Despite a few minor hiccups, all in all, I would definitely use this company again, who is contracted by U-Pack.”

Seeing a few negative reviews about them is a little aggravating so I am leaving this positive one since they have always done us right!!”

“I would have given a 5 Star but upon trying to finish unloading my daughter's apartment, when I arrived to the gate @ 9:05, it stated it was closed. I called the customer service department( which the lady was nice) but she informed me that once it turns 9:00 you can not override the system. I had to drive home with a loaded down car instead of being able to open the gate & being able to finish my final load. I feel if you have camera there, why not let your clients have late night acces( within a reasonable time).”

“Just used a POD to move a portion of my household (specifically the heavy awkward stuff) and it made moving so much easier than doing it the way we use to...just us and our close friends. Still used the close friends but for the smaller stuff. Would use again.”
