Took my dog Finley there and the staff was wonderful. All so friendly and they didn’t push charges for unnecessary things. As a first time client there I will for sure be taking her back. Finley has found her new doctor!

Hickory Knoll is awesome! They care about our kiddy pets. Dr M Jacocks is very personal & thorough with my lil 80 lb Put/Stafford mix Gage. Definitely glad I found Hickory Knoll for all my boys healthy healthcare needs.

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Kitziger for years. He's amazing, as are all the staff at Hickory Knoll. Even when I moved to Slidell briefly I still made the drive to Harahan so I could keep taking them to Hickory Knoll! Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great vet.

We come here for the vet every so often. Typically not very crowded. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful. They have a scale you can use to check your pets weight that you don’t have to wait to see a doctor for which is nice.

Dr. McCord is hands down the best. I love how patient she is with both my senior dog and I. She will answer any questions I have over the phone and I never feel rushed during our visits. She is a great listener and I can really tell how much she cares for my dog Tarzan. Dr. McCord, thank you for all you do and the difference you have made in our lives. We appreciate you!

Hickory Knoll Vet took amazing care of our sweet Toy Poodle mix, Toto. For 9.5 years they were always just a phone call away. They gave her the best care possible. Especially Dr Matt Jacocks, he is so informative, always patient with all my questions, and always put my mind at ease. Dr Barbara and Dr Eric also treated Toto when Dr Matt was unavailable. They are a family and treated us like family. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Luv our Vet & the staff who work there. Even if my Vet isn't available, whoever takes over is extremely capable. Great Vets! A little expensive but good.
