I came up there to get a dent looked at. Mrs Barbara is amazing to talk to and really had my hopes high when going in for the quote. Well. Another woman walks me outside and within 30 seconds says I need a whole new door. Pushes the panel and says it shouldn't flex, that a bar inside is destroyed, and the whole thing needs replaced. Let's consider that every panel on my car flexes because it's sheet metal. That's what it does. I tell her what I want, but argues with me that no one in the city will touch this. That no amount of PDR will fix it. Did I mention she never introduced herself? Yeah her customer service was nothing like Mrs. Barbara. And I was disappointed by that. So i decide to get a quote for a door and low and behold, $1801 and change. I dropped the paper on her desk and walked out. What happened to customer service? She insisted they won't do a job they can't do right. I get that. But you determine my door is beyond repair with out inspecting the interior structure. She just assumed it was done for. All because the metal should flex. But all my door flex the same as the dented door. So are all of them bad and need replacing? Make it make sense. Thankfully when I called back to share with Mrs. Barbara my dissatisfaction, she was again so sweet and kind and willing to work with me. But I'm not interested in being led to do one when I want to try a cheaper option first. Especially when the price is 10 times the original service I wanted. Oh and by the way, the lady who quoted the $1801. Her name is Bri. I had to thank Mrs Barbara for giving me her name. Mrs Barbara if you're reading this, I'm sorry but I have to leave this hear for accountability to your employee, and so others know what to expect when they walk in.

I brought my car to be serviced by Harahan Body and paint shop on or about January 30/ February 1st after being recovered from a theft. My bumper was falling off, my rear passenger window was busted, my rearview mirror was taken, my rim was cracked and there was some body damage. All of these damages were noted (or so i was told) by one of their employees Bri when I went to go do the walk around after the tow truck brought it there. Now I was aware that a lot of parts for kias were on back order due to so many of these vehicles being stolen recently so I wasn't surprised when she told me it would be a lengthy process. I acquired a rental car through my insurance which was covered up to a month and could only be extended for 7 days after the month was up and once it got closer to having to give the rental back I would call the shop for updates and I would always get a different answer. Once I was told by Bri after having my car for a whole month, that now the hood needs to be replaced and they're waiting to see if state farm will pay for it, she said "the hood was folding like a tin can when we touched it" and that was odd to me because if you've already had the car for a month why are you just now realizing this? Also there had been nothing wrong with the hood when I brought it so this is news to me. I waited another week or two before I contacted them again and by this point I don't have my rental anymore and have to take ubers to get where I need to go, I called them on Monday March 13th for another update and I was told that they were waiting on one more part and that if it came by that upcoming Wednesday my car would be done by that upcoming Friday, I get a call from Bri on Wednesday March 15th saying that my car is 90% finished and will definitely be ready by Friday March 17th so I waited until about 12/1 on Friday to call and see when I could come to get it and Stevie told me that it was at the alignment place and they didn't know how long it would be so when I asked if it would be ready that day Stevie said he wasn't sure and that he couldn't make any promises. I reminded him that Bri told me just a couple of days ago that my car was 90% finished and would be ready today and he said Bri never told me that so by this point i'm getting angry because why sit on my phone and lie to me like y'all have been doing the last month and when I asked him if he was trying to imply that I was lying he said "Look ma'am I didn't steal your car" the same car that you know was recovered from a theft so I told him that I was coming get my car that day and there's nothing left to talk about. He's going back and forth with me and eventually he says "Is this Wendy i'm speaking to?" and when I said "No this is Paceley, it's my car we're talking about" he says that he can't talk to me about the car because my name isn't on the insurance (which was a bold faced lie) he then gives the phone to the owner Edward and Edward is trying to explain the process once a car gets in the shop and when I told him that one of his employees basically called me a liar and made the very ignorant comment about stealing my car he didn't have anything to say about it. On my way to the shop I get a call from them saying my car is ready for pickup but once I get there there's still some damage to the interior door and my rear view mirror is still gone so when I go back inside to ask about the mirror Edward says that he wasn't sure if it was missing as a result of the theft so he didn't know if it needed to be replaced or not because "they don't make the cars, they just fix them" and that I would be fine riding without the mirror because "I wouldn't get pulled over for not having it" So for that whole month and a half nobody noticed the rear view mirror was gone and nobody thought to ask me if it needed to be replaced. It was not until March 23rd that my mirror was replaced when I was

Car looks brand new as if it was never in an accident. Came in after a hard hit and run side swipe/ impact and my door was basically off the hinges, even knocking the front bumper and unable to close. Would def come back if needed and highly recommend. Friendly receptionist and appreciate Mr. Ed for breaking down and showing me the damages. Was also willing to work with me with out of pocket expenses.

This is definitely a 5 start gem in Harahan if not the Greater New Orleans area. They are friendly and professional. We go to them for all our car repair needs and (unfortunately) with 4 kids driving that has been more often then we would have liked. They work with insurance and all repairs have been top notch. Make them your "geaux" to place.

First off I would like to say that I absolutely pleased on how great of a job Harahan body and paint has done on my car. Came in for a sunroof damage and also needed some roof and trunk repairs. Not only do they do a great job. They make you feel at home. They are so comforting and caring. They went the extra mile for me and made sure I had my car better than how it came in. Mr. Ed (owner) is such a handsdown great guy. He is honest and caring. Can't forget Mrs. Barbara!! We came in just for a quote and the first thing Mr. Ed did was cover my sunroof from getting any rain in it. That there I already knew my car is in good hands. And also looking at all the cars he takes in and out. Will I come back? Absolutely. No questions
