This is a very very nice store.Very organized,great product displays,good products and sales Clearence areas are orderly,small product displays in front was flawless Store is large, so there is no small aisles.I worked in Illinois for nearly 5 yrs at2 different World Markets and this is the best W.M. I have been to.Far exceeds the Harvey store.Very impressed.Food section was very nice.Spices are displayed well and just everything was near perfection.Staff was nice .I used my 15% birthday coupon that worked on food as well .I am a very happy customer?

I love this world market -it’s the perfect place to get unique gifts for people, but also an amazing home good and furniture store with equally unique home furnishing.
I had a particularly excellent experience recently with the staff. I’d come to the store earlier just to browse and saw a display item on sale. I went home knowing I was going to get it, but had to borrow a larger vehicle to buy it and bring it home…I showed up 5 minutes before closing (terrible) and the staff went above and beyond to get the VERY heavy piece into the borrowed minivan. I’m really grateful to the staff- they were extremely polite/accommodating/engaging despite my purchase causing them to stay past closing. I’m really grateful and can’t recommend the Elmwood location enough!

Clean your bathrooms. They need to be cleaned daily. No soap in dispensers and feces on several toilet seats. This is a management issue. Disgusting!

Staff are reasonable, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The store is always clean, although some items have dust collected on them. You can find many neat items in the store for reasonable prices. Also, they carry items from Africa which is pretty dope. I have purchased in store and online using curbside which was pretty straight to the point. My favorite items are the oils below.. I layer two of them with body butter, perfume, and mist ..omggg-smells so good. I recommend!

I wish this location was friendlier. Every time a call or come in I feel rushed or ignored as if my presence is intrusive to their day. I would say it's just cashiers or staff but the manager seems to not want to be bothered with people. I did NOT want to write this review but it has happened too many times. There is no patience or peace at this location. I am amazed it is still open. In this entire store I have only met 2-3 pleasant employees. If the negativity is at the top then it flows downward. And don't order something online. You may never hear from anyone. No explanation, confirmation or anything. I think I'll just stick to the Westbank store in Harvey, LA. BTW it's not made up because I have seen them treat others in that rushed, unpleasant manner as well.
