Capital Improvement did a fine job with my Patio Cover. They followed up and ensured all was good. They even help fix an issue with my gutters that was a result of the Pation Cover being installed. Even thought I’d was due to an existing issue with the gutter pitch, and no fault of their own. I highly recommend them.

They Hardie Planked the entire home and replaced the soffit and facia with Hardie materials. The transformation was incredible. Their crew was meticulous in the cuttingand proper spacing of the plank and trim. The house, like so many in New Orleans, was not perfectly level but they made sure the planks did not show the issues. After I painted the exterior I had them come back out and install 6 inch seamless architectural gutters. The gutters put the finishing touches on the house. From estimate tofinancing to the final walk through...Capital Improvement was excellent. I highly recommend them for any outside improvements no matter how large or small.Service: Exterior finishing

I've been trouble finding the right company for a project I need done. No one shows up like they say and aren't on time. Joey from Capital Improvement responded on time, showed up on time, and spent quality time with me explaining the complications I'm facing and offering his knowledge and experience to find the right type of company and solution that will match my budget. Joey at Capital Improvement will be the first person I call when I need something in the future. I appreciate his honesty and looking out for my best interest instead of taking advantage of the situation I was in..

I highly recommend Capital Improvements for their quality work, professionalism, and customer service. They installed our patio 4 years ago. Following hurricane Ida, I expected to come home to a patio in pieces. Instead, my patio withstood hurricane Ida beautifully. Our house was damaged but only a few decorative end caps were missing from our patio. Recently, William at Capital Improvements was very helpful and got the end cap I needed in a timely manner. I would definitely use Capital Improvements again.Service: Patio construction

Do not by any means use this company. Terrible service, product, etc. Got a patio/screen room installed in 2018. Right off the bat, they had to come redo concrete 3 times due to numerous uneven spots. Then couple months later the roof starts leaking. over time leaks got worse and I'd call but no one ever calls back. Now water just pours in when it rains and floods patio. Again tried calling several times but no return call. Finally a guy named Joey calls back and talks very condescendingly and says it'll be $1400 dollars to come reseal roof. I tell him that I had someone else come look at it and they told me the seal was worn down and saw where leaks were and he laughs and asks me why then didn't the guy just go ahead and fix them then. I told him cause they wanted $900 and he says well that's better than I'll charge. Well your company built the piece of crap buddy but I guess y'all got my money so no worries on your end. This company absolutely sucks. Stay away

I hired Capital Improvements after interviewing several companies to replace my windows and sliding glass door. My requirement was white aluminum. So they came out and measured and ordered the windows and door. They could not supply the aluminum sliding glass door and agreed to charge the labor to install a door I purchased in addition to the windows they supplied. The windows were installed as expected then the problems with the sliding glass door began. The installer was not familiar with the type of door: commercial, coastal rated aluminum ply gem bypassing sliding glass door. The door was left where I could not lock my place which is a condo (door is located entrance at walkway). Capital returned to install lock hardware at a later date. I worked with the manufacturer toward a solution when it was determined that the sill was not manufactured correctly. A replacement sill was supplied and Capital told me there would be a labor charge to remove the door(which was never completely installed) and reinstall it. The labor charge was $100 more than quoted and I was left with an incomplete installation as shown in the pictures. ($1050 labor at this point) The bottom of the door track was unsupported and unsealed with exposed wood. My condo is literally across the street from the New Orleans Marina where wind/rain over time would have caused water intrusion and rot to the building framing and exposure to pests and insects. So after paying over $1000 for installation of the door, I had to complete the installation by using means that were far more difficult after the fact to seal the door properly.Service: Window installation

Mr. William Hale came out to give me an estimate on some gutter work. He assured me, "I really want to help you out". He seemed most interested on all the work he could do on the house. I Informed him I only wanted an estimate on the gutter work. He quoted a price of $1,219.00. Sounded reasonable to me, but what would I know of what a good price would be. This was first estimate I had received from anyone. When I informed him I would like to get at least two other estimates he abruptly told me NOT to call him back. I thought he was kidding initially but he further elaborated that this job was what they call a "nuisance job" in the industry. Still taken aback, I asked if it was because it was not much money- -and he replied yes. This is a "nuisance job" and he wanted to help me out, but now I have just wasted his time. Imagine that. Wanting to get another estimate is considered a waste of time. Not to mention my time which he so rudely wasted. So unless you are going to spend big bucks with this despicable company, BEWARE! He's not out to help anyone. I didn't ask for help. I wanted a job done, a fair job for a fair price. Apparently that is too much to ask for today, for it certainly is with this company. Even if that was the best price in town, I'm so glad I did not enter into any kind of dealings with a person like Mr. Hale or the company he represents. Shame on you Mr. Hale. Your greed surpasses your disrespectful behavior.'

I recommend Capital Improvements. I needed some new windows and they came out in a timely matter. Joey Liamas was my sales rep. He was very informative. I felt very comfortable and was not pressured in any way. The installation team headed by Ivan Cupcea were very friendly and talented men. The thing that impressed me most is the person that sold me the windows (Joey) came back after the sale to make sure the job was done right and I was completely satisfied. I will definitely use this company again and would recommend them to my friends.

I am very disappointed in Capital Improvement. They appear great at the start gate until you sign off on sheet, knowing they had to complete a part that was not done but the money was taken. Now they act cold and indifferent to your concerns and back peddle what they say. NEVER do business with them unless of course you don't mind paying for what was not done.
