The manager had the door locked at 9:30pm and hours of operation were until 10pm. Finally we convinced the old manager to open the door for us, the customers trying to make a few purchases. Then when we asked for assistance once in the door. He refused to help and said "This is bullshit. Go ask him" . He then pointed to a younger worker who was actually helpful. The worker then proceeded to check us out but couldn't apply our VA discount because he was scared the manager would flip if he asked him for assistance at the register. Unreal for a manager. The environment the so call manager created was so unprofessional. If autozone sees this fire him or at minimum demote. Watch the cameras Aug 23rd 9:30pm. Thankss for hiring the worst worker for the simplest job and making him a manager.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS AUTOZONE LOCATION!!!
Let me start off by saying AutoZone has officially lost me as a customer! I’m still in disbelief, I went here to purchase a new battery today for my car because my battery died. The employee name may be Jordan or Joesph, he look very young, braces and black curly hair. He told me I could purchase the battery but he was NOT going to install the battery for me due to AutoZone policy “employees don’t have to install batteries for a customer”. Prior to arriving there I called the store to make sure they had my battery in stock ( which they did ) and if they install the new battery ( which they told me on the phone they would install ). My question when did refusing to change a paying customer battery become a policy?
I end up purchasing my battery from O’Reilly with NO PROBLEM they installed and gave me so much help ( they even reached me how to properly install my battery for the future ) !
Moral of the story DO NOT SHOP AT THIS AUTOZONE!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

I had the best experience with this team. Mel, Joe, and everyone at this location immediately responded with kindness and professionalism. I ended up buying my part from them even though I found it cheaper online, but they were so considerate that I wanted to spend my money at this location.

By far the worst AutoZone I’ve been to. I did an online order. When I arrived I was not greeted. 2 men sitting just talking not working . 2 other workers were working. There were 2 ppl ahead of me after the older black man finished up with them he was just standing at his computer and the other man he had just helped was off to the side so I walked up and said I have a pickup order he then told me ok I have to finish up with him so I’m okay cool but he has just helped this young man . So I waited and he got back with me. Sent somebody else to fetch my order and at this point I’ve been here for 20 minutes . So the man who was supposed to be getting my order is literally stocking up. So I’m like excuse me is he getting my order all I have is an oil filter and oil! The young man had done stopped doing my order and went back to doing a completely different task. This was the worse experience. Do not recommend!

I had to return the oil that I purchased because it was wrong. Everyone there were so friendly. This Auto Zone has people who are friendly. The one on Veterans past Bonnabel not so nice.

I was sent to that store to pick up a part I was told was there, drove about 15 minutes from my house just for it not to be there and they ordered it through the hub. They told me to come back at 9 AM the next day to pick it up. Already inconvenienced, because my car isn’t working I had to borrow my sisters, I show up and the part is not there, and they tell me to come back at 1 PM. I decided to call to make sure the part arrived so I don’t waste my time and my sisters time. I called about 11 times, and was put on hold 3 times for over 10-12 minutes each. What are the times the employees hung up on me as soon as he answered after I complained, and he played it off as it was a mistake. They then told me, the part hasn’t come in yet come back at 4 or 5 o’clock. I understand it’s not their fault that FedEx is doing a lousy job, but that’s no excuse for the rudeness and the negligence of your customers time. AutoZone has lost its quality the past couple of years, if I wasn’t in such a rush to fix my car, I would’ve never stepped into that store again. If incompetence is an Olympic sport, they would take home gold every time.

Went in to have my battery checked. Joseph helped me. He checked it for me, told me it was reading as bad and installed a new one. I was in / out in 15 minutes. I went to the Auto Zone in Westwego yesterday and the guy checked my battery for me and told me it was good, passed all the tests. My battery kept losing charge, so I think the Westwego battery reader may be faulty. Anyway, pleased with the customer service at the Clearview store.
