Just called to see if appointment was needed to get my New Babylock Jazz 2 looked at. No appointment necessary, but explained to David that I just bought couple of weeks ago, still under warranty. Did not buy from them. They did not have in stock. Bought through Sewingmachinesplus.com they had in stock at great price. David told me since I bought from large internet company they get machines before they do. They could not look at my machine. I've bought machines from them in the past, plus parts, service, and other. I go out of my way to go to their store. But not any more. It's ashame they are Babylock reps.

As a frequent needle-crafter/fabric recycler and doll-maker - I was lucky that I thought to ask the manager over at JOANN's in Gretna, if they knew of a place where I might get my sewing machine serviced. She was quick to recommend ALL ABOUT SEWING. Things were just coming back after the months of COVID shutdowns, so I brought my beloved Singer Featherweight 221 (a legacy from dear departed mom, given to HER - as a wedding gift in 1946 (!) They said I'd have to wait a bit. It took awhile, but I must say the friendly service, the way I was kept informed of progress, and told what was needed (not much, it turned out) made it a pleasure. The skilled, savvy folks at ALL ABOUT SEWING, then were able to 'spiff up' my machine. It was well worth the wait. My machine looks good as new, and runs like silk. Huzzahs!

I live outside the city limits, easy to locate. Just don't follow Google Maps, it takes you the scenic route. Friendly, informative and willing to work with you. And they have a shop on State highway 22 in Mandeville on the way to Madisonville. Sadly, I forgot the name of the store.
