Quick and reasonably priced. Man inside was nice and they had a waiting room while my oil was changed. Recommend

I exclusively used this shop for years while I loved in NOLA. One of the things I was most disappointed about leaving behind was this mechanic shop. Staff is ALWAYS great and helpful. Service is quick and fairly priced. I've never felt like they were wasting my time or money with phoney repairs.
Absolutely recommend this place for any auto repairs! They will treat you right.

Do not bring your vehicle here. The mechanics are obviously under the influence of drugs. I was charged an obscene amount of money to repair my AC. I received my Yukon back with a lifter tap and metal shavings all throughout my AC unit. 2 years later we are still dealing with the damage from this mechanic shop. We should have taken them to court. The worst mechanic in all of greater New Orleans. If you want your truck returned to you broken use this mechanic.

Albert worked on my mustang and my boyfriends truck for multiple issues. Albert fixed something another shop charged me hundreds of dollars for at right around $100 and I actually understood what he was doing. He doesn’t give you the run-around. He never overcharges and always gets the job done. He’s the type of mechanic who really cares about the work he’s producing and has awesome customer service.

Best service I have had! The prices are fair, the staff is polite and knowledgeable. They found the problem and fixed it. My car runs like new! They even cleaned my window for me. They brought my car to the door so I didn't have to walk a far distance, which was very much appreciated, because I am disabled. I would recommend this business to everyone.

Update: See attached.Setting the facts straight:1) I was a true customer3) Cannot bring any attorney into Small Claims Court4) Louisiana Civil court has no jurisdiction over me.5) Louisiana Bar has no jurisdiction in TX.6) I don't remembering being asked for the mileage thus did not deny anything but the attached photos include current mileage and shows the mileage since the repair is way less than 12,000 miles.7) Problems began before last October.8) He knew the age and mileage of the vehicle and accepted the job and took the money.9) One photo incudes a pic of a text message that says that he would return money for which was never received.10) I AM AN EAGLE SOUCT, SERVICE ACADEMY GRADUATE, AND HIGHLY DECORATED RETIRED VETERAN and I DO NOT MAKE FALSE STATEMENTS.11) This is the customer service that I was delt.On this particular instance I had to take a temporary job in New Orleans and drove my 05 Ford Excursion to drive while I was working there. My home is in Texas. My turbocharger craped out on this truck while I was in NOLA and had no way to get it back to TX for my guys to work on it. After checking around the NOLA location, I thought I had found a reputable diesel mechanic. I'm still not sure. The end result is that the new alternator that Albert replaced lasted two months before having it replaced by the mechanics that I normally take my diesel powered vehicles to that I have entrusted for over 10 years. I called Albert about the alternator and he told me to take it to Pep Boys. There is no Pep Boys here that handles parts. I told him this and he said he would send me a check for the part. I'm still waiting on the check. My regular mechanic was doing a routine check and found the turbine blades were breaking apart. This mechanic is someone that I have trusted for 10 years so called Jasper concerning the warranty. Basically, without even requesting for the turbocharger to be sent to them for future investigation, is blaming the damage on everything except the turbo. I dont drive this vehicle much so there is less than 500 miles on this "new" faulty turbocharger. The only recourse that I have to write a bad review on Albert. Hopefully maybe this will get his attention. At least find different suppliers for his parts. Good diesel mechanics that really know what they are doing are hard to find. Even harder than gas engines. He might be a great mechanic for gasoline engines but from my perspective, have this being the only vehicle that I have taken to him, I'm not so sure. All that I know is that I paid nearly $2000 for a repair that didn't even last 500 miles for a replacement of an alternator and a turbocharger. that was a year ago.Service: Engine repair
