Never rent a Penske truck from this place! Reserved a truck 2 weeks in advance. Received confirmation from them. Get there on the date, a Saturday, and the office is not open on a weekend. No one is there to provide the keys to the truck, which is sitting on the lot. Tried calling the number on the office and the person who answered simply said "sorry, the office is closed on weekends." Contacted Penske and they were not able to contact the owner or anyone that could assist. Penske did all they could to find me a replacement truck but could not find one. Luckily u-Haul had one. I recommended that Penske seriously consider revoking the license for this place to rent their trucks.

So many sizes to choose from and such friendly service. Hammond lock storage is the best option for drive up storage and business storage.

NEVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR BELONGINGS! My best friend moved in with me as my roommate and stored his very valuable tools, antique guns, and much more, the next time he went to put more stuff, his lock had been cut and he had been robbed! They have camera's for what? They didn't bother to help him and he did call authorities. They moved him to the next shed and the next time he visited his storage in the new shed, he just so happened to look into the one they cut, TO FIND ALL HIS LEFTOVER BELONGINGS IN THE OLD SHED. THESE PEOPLE MOVED HIS STUFF BACK IN THE OLD SHED. THAT IS THEFT! What if he would have never looked in there at all. He would have been robbed out of everything he ever brought there. PLUS........RIDE BY THERE AT NIGHT BEFORE YOU RENT A STORAGE, THE GATES TO ALL 4 CORRIDORS ARE WIDE OPEN AT ALL TIMES!!!!!! WHY ARE THEY EVEN OPEN STILL??!!??

I have been keeping my things here for years and WOW have things changed. I feel 10X better about my items being safe and the staff is super friendly now. I would pay double the rent if I have to, that's how great it is.

The new management sent an inaccurate account number for automatic withdrawal of my rent (a process in place for years), then falsely charged me an "insufficient funds" and a late fee. When I notified them that they had made a mistake, they refused to listen and also failed to contact my bank. They also more than doubled my rental fee. When I criticized this treatment on their FaceBook page, they sent me an eviction notice (misspelling eviction, a word that a fifth grader can spell) and locked me out of my unit. I had been a loyal customer for EIGHT years with never a late payment. I had to hire a lawyer to resolve the problem.
