The services were excellent, except for check in. I was able to maneuver through the process, but I was concern with the elderly who are not technical equip to handle the process. It is simple to the ones who can understand technology, but not all who also suffer with physical disabilities. This issue is not just with quest, but everywhere. Thankfully I was there to assist my husband, because he didin't have a clue how to deal with the sign in. There should be an alternate process for those fragile individuals.

Tried calling to speak with someone. All you get is an automated system with no option to talk to a real human! If quest thinks they can answer all questions through a short automated response then I sincerely doubt they can do a competent job . Bedside manner is supposed to be extremely important in this industry and when you’re trusting your health to an organization you would hope for some type of empathy or compassion from that group. Unfortunately they can’t take the time to answer a phone.

This was the nearest Quest Diagnostics location to McComb MS.Enter Market entrance at Walmart on West Thomas St. Quest is on the left just past the Financial Center and just before the Tax kiosk.Waiting area was separated from the Walmart activities by a private entrance and solid wall. It was very neat, comfortable and clean.Registration via tablet in the waiting area was quick and easy. Drivers license and insurance cards are scanned front and back. An appointment time is displayed along with an option to choose another time.My appointment time came up as 0740 which was approximately 5 minutes from when I finished registration. My wait time was less than 5 minutes.Technician Ms. Kenyata entered some info into the computer from my registration as well as from the lab orders which I brought with me.Ms. Kenyata was cordial, professional and above all VERY good at drawing my blood. Ms. Kenyata easily and quickly found the vein by feel in the arm that a lot of Techs don't even try to find one in. It was virtually painless.5 very quick vials later I was ready to depart.Due to having Medicare B as well as a G supplement there was no cash out of pocket.I recommend Quest Diagnostics in Hammond and Technian Ms. Kenyata to anyone needing lab services.

Go somewhere else. So frustrating. They couldn’t find my doctors account and wanted to charge me $2200. Called me to let me know they found my doctors account and told me to come back the next day. I did and then they wanted me to wait for 4 hours. Needless to say I left. Horrible service.

I went to this quest to have blood work done. My doctor told me when I arrived to get them to call the office for my lab orders and her office would fax them in. I told the person who waited on me what my doctor said to do. She got ugly and told me that they did not have a fax machine they did everything on the computer. I told her I would call my doctor, and she said do what you want to do. I called the doctors office and I got a recording I told them I was told that they didn't have a fax machine at the Hammond location, and asked them if they could verbally call my orders in. She then told me if they got the orders I would probably have to wait for 30 minutes to an hour. I told her I would leave and come back. She then handed me a card and said this is our fax number. What??? I just walked out and I will never go back there again. Sad!! I drove to the Mandeville quest and they called the doctor and got my orders quickly. I will have my lab work done there from now on. 18 miles away, but worth it!!
