took my dog here for the second time as it is convenient to my house. I wasn't happy with the service the first time, but i mistakenly gave them a second chance. the dog washer was rude to both me and my dog. she didn't completely dry him saying he didn't like the dryer. I'm sorry this your job don't make excuses. my dog doesn't like loud noises, he is very gentle and would never bite. I feel like I paid for a half assed job and rude service we will never go back here again this was done Nov 25, 2024

Their service is good and all, but hanging up on someone on the middle of them talking? Are you serious? Rude and disrespectful.

I went to get two parakeets. The employee told me I had to be 18. I told her that I was. She said I needed an id. I spent 20 minutes looking for a picture of my id because I didn’t have it on me. She knew I was looking for it. When I finally went over to her again with the picture, she told me I had to have an id in person. It was ridiculous.

After a not so great experience at petco with the clipping of my daughter's puppy's nails, I decided to try petsmart hoping for the outcome I originally planned. We entered this location and walked to the back where grooming takes place. We were greeted by one of the groomers(Harleigh), whom instantly acknowledged us and showed a lot of attention to the puppy. We told her about the horrible experience at petco, while she exemplified great customer service, by being patient with our shy puppy, and giving us helpful suggestions. We only took advantage of his nails being trimmed, but it's without a doubt that he'll be brought back for all other services needed. I highly recommend anyone wanting to bring their pet for any services offered by petsmart, to see if Harleigh is available. But, be cautious, because your pet might like her so much that they may want to stay with her. Lol. Thanks again for all you did!

I got my cat Smudge from here & she’s literally the best cat ever! I’m so grateful they let me take her home… she has been my saving grace many days & such a sweet cuddle bug. Thanks again pet smart for helping me find my furever friend?

I just bought three fish a week and a half ago. Now all three of those fish are dying and also another fish that I previously had is also sick. They are covered in ich. I’m hoping I can save them (I’m not a newbie when it comes to fish), but I’m pretty sure my older fish is done for. ?

Bought a Medium sized MALE rat from them for my first pet rat, assuming that it was MALE, and they confirmed it was MALE. A couple weeks later, turns out Terzo, my rat, is a Terzette.. And I had already bought two more male rats to go with her, and upon discovering that what was supposed to be a HE was a SHE, I had to go buy a completely new cage in order to house the two boys I bought. So, thanks, Petsmart. ♥ I know it's hard to tell the gender on rats sometimes, but I was so confused as to why Terzette was lacking her ratesticals.

Let me start by saying I am a regular customer at the Hammond location and usually receive excellent service by friendly employees which is why I am truly disappointed. I placed an order for pickup on 3/1/2024 and when I received the email that my order was ready I headed to the store. When I arrived around 10 am, I told the lady at the counter that I placed an order for pickup and got an email saying it was ready I showed her the email. She asked me my name so I told her. She then questioned me about what the order was as though I am trying to pick up an order that isn't mine after showing her the email with order number and giving her my name!! She finally gives me my order!! I did not appreciate basically the third degree over an order I paid for after clearly showing her the email from Petsmart saying my order is ready! I did return to the counter and show her my drivers license to prove I am who I said I was and this order did in fact belong to me! This woman is not the right fit for Petsmart!
