“My family and I came into the Hammond location about an hour before closing time in hopes of adopting a hamster for our son’s first small pet. As we looked over the hamsters we initially picked out a Fancy Hamster. The associate that came to help us was Kyle, and we are so appreciative of his knowledge and helpfulness. He asked us about of hamster cage at home and recommended a different breed of hamster that best suited our habitat set up. He then started interacting with all the appropriate hamsters in order to find one with a good temperament for our 9 year old. It may have just been another Tuesday night for Kyle, but for our family he really went above and beyond to make sure we got the right pet and shared his recommendations on what we should have at home to make a hamster happy. I’m not sure if Kyle will even see this review, but I hope he does. Thank you, Kyle, we really do appreciate your time and knowledge!”

“Love, love, love Jessica! Cannot give enough stars for the service and quality work she does! My dog is still new to grooming but Jessica is the absolute BEST!! She’s SO wonderful! I work for a veterinary hospital, I want Jessica to come work with us bc she is AMAZING!!!!! We don’t do grooming or anything like what she provides, but she is so wonderful with my dog ! I’d give her 10/10 stars and geez I wish she’d apply with us bc she is so caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and sweet (I have a goofball/husky mix) that she’d be the perfect asset to our team! “Store is clean and employees are nice. Except the general manager.I came in today and the power had just shorted so the registers were shut down and the store manager was yelling at a sweet young lady when she was clearly just trying to calmly handle the situation. I think her name was Mitch? Handled the situation like a boss.Send that manager back where he came from”

“Great staff, but they had some that didn't know how technology worked that could be potentially problematic in a bad medical interaction or overdose situation from not seeing what's there on the file exactly.”

“After a not so great experience at petco with the clipping of my daughter's puppy's nails, I decided to try petsmart hoping for the outcome I originally planned. We entered this location and walked to the back where grooming takes place. We were greeted by one of the groomers(Harleigh), whom instantly acknowledged us and showed a lot of attention to the puppy. We told her about the horrible experience at petco, while she exemplified great customer service, by being patient with our shy puppy, and giving us helpful suggestions. We only took advantage of his nails being trimmed, but it's without a doubt that he'll be brought back for all other services needed. I highly recommend anyone wanting to bring their pet for any services offered by petsmart, to see if Harleigh is available. But, be cautious, because your pet might like her so much that they may want to stay with her. Lol. Thanks again for all you did!”
