Called order in for 3 pizzas, told it would be 15 minutes. Arrived and the girl working was finishing up with a customer. Asked if we were ordering said picking up. Said she might not have it ready, and it would be 30 minutes as she was only one working and that previous customer had to wait 30 minutes. Asked had she started it, she looked at register and glanced at screen in back then said no, we were her next customer and still would be 30 minutes wait. I asked why was i told 15 minutes if you're the only one working? Response was that call center doesnt know what their wait times are and that I needed to press #5 to get the store. Well, if it tells me press 3 to order why would I press 5? Canceled order and went to Dominoes. Better pizza and never had a problem with them.

The manager Sara has been working there years.Rude racist disrespectful. Made a pizza over 3 times She was so mad the second time she cut the pizza like a kindergarten child and another manager had to help me an couldn't belive the whole situation literally too much to type. But I'm definitely calling Papa on her big back !

I ordered a Pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza for carry out !! Picked it up and got home and it was just pepperoni. Called and they made me a new one. The new one was right but was the worse pizza I have ever eaten. Guess they just threw it together because it was free. They lost me as a customer!!!!!!!!

If I could remove that single star, I would do so. My husband and I normally order our pizzas through Papa Johns because our grandchildren love their pizzas, but after the horrible service we received on the 16th, due to their delivery driver dropping our first order off at the wrong address when the correct address is clearly displayed in my online account. Additionally, a second driver was sent out, yet we never received the remade order. I had to call the store several times to find out what was going wrong with my delivery. I asked to speak with a manager and a nice gentleman informs me, he will refund the amount I was charged and would remake the order and have it sent it...I agreed. He further stated, the charges would fall off my bank account within 3-5 business days depending on my financial institution, okay I was fine with that. Well, hours passed and our grandchildren were getting annoyed because our pizza still had not been delivered. I received a text from Papa John's at 11:59 that reads, "Hey Bridget, your order from Papa John's Store 1131 is being delivered at 12:35 AM. You can track the status at....." Mind you, I placed my initial order online at 8:46 PM. Was the order delivered at 12:35 AM? No, it was finally delivered by an extremely friendly DoorDash driver 4 hours and 14 minutes later (1 AM). That sweet lady apologized three times for someone else's mistakes, laziness, and lack of professionalism. She stated, "I don't know how they couldn't find your home, when GPS lead me straight to you?" Make it make sense.Needless to say, the pizza was not worth the money we spent or the 4 hours we had to wait to receive it...cold, dry, and bland. Did I receive the promised refund, no. I contacted Papa Johns today and spoke with a female who stated, she was the manager and the guy I spoke with was working in her place on the 16th. I explained the situation and gave her the details of the telephone conversation I had with the gentleman. Her response, "Well, it is our policy to either remake the pizza or give a refund. We remade the pizza." My response, "Well, do you think it was professional or acceptable for my order to be delivered to the wrong address twice and to finally receive the order but at 1 AM the next morning. I should have listened to my husband when he advised me to record the conversation I had with the nice gentleman on the 16th. I will be contacting their corporate office. This experience was a waste of money, time, and energy I cannot get back. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

so... we ordered a pizza via the app. time goes by and we check the app. it was delivered 20 minutes prior. to whom? no idea. call and talk with the manager. a Bryan/Brian answers and asks for the details. he says it's showing delivered. no sh*t... we're seeing the same thing. he says it's signed for and the delivery driver came back and clocked out. so? we still have no food... or we wouldn't have called. finally, he asks if we want it remade and it'll be a 45 minute wait. we're still hungry. make the food and send it to the right address. we already paid for it. 20 minutes later, door dash shows up and gives us an order. great. sort it out between myself and the wife, and she opens the mountain dew and takes a sip. open the pizza. "does this look wrong to you? of course there's no receipt. the box says cheese only. check the app." "nope. says I ordered a pepperoni, sausage six cheese." I drive to the location, obviously hungry and upset. carried my order in and placed it on the counter in front of Brian/Bryan. "how can I help you? " "I believe you just spoke with my wife about our order." "what was the name?" I give the name. "so what's the issue? " upset but level voice. "we ordered a pepperoni, sausage, and six cheese. this obviously says f*cking cheese only." asstitude. "first of all, don't curse at me." some other such nonsense... blank-faced at the idiocy. "fine. what are we gonna do about it?" "you're paying for the drink that you opened and drank out of." annoyed. "That's not even the point. the order's been paid for. I'm f*cking hungry, dude." high and mighty. "have a nice night. I've told you twice not to cuss at me. you can speak to the GM in the morning." amused and pissed off. "twice." he told me how he said some butthurt stuff and whatever. "now you can leave or I can have you removed." had I thought about it at the time, I would have explained to the inept manager how I didn't curse *at* him since he wanted to play semantics... "hmph." I walk outside and call the wife, explain to her what's going on. I see a delivery driver walking to the door behind me. "pardon me, ma'am, but is your manager always this much of an as*hat?" a grimace and an uncomfortable noise. "gotcha. stick up his as*." "why? what's wrong?" "I've been kicked out for cursing after they delivered to the wrong address and sent the wrong f*cking order." "What's the address? " I gave it. "okay, good. it wasn't me. he's only a manager when our manager's off." "heard that. what's his name?" "Br*an." "do you have a last name?" ponders a moment. "I don't know. let me find out." she walks inside, checks some pages posted on a post in the store, and comes back softly chuckling. "(redacted for the sake of the as*hat, but I assure you, it's amusing. )" I talk with the wife some more. a customer steps out of their car and I ask them to bring me the mountain dew I so explicitly paid for that's still sitting on the counter. told them to ask the guy if it was mine. he agreed. about the time they go to grab his order, 3 or 4 HPD units roll in with lights. I just started laughing. long and short, I was detained because I offended Br*an's sensibilities after the store and driver he managed cocked up my order not once but twice... and I was wearing a firearm in an open carry state on public property. well done, brave souls all... 6 cops and a f*cking statey who just happened to be passing by because Pappa John's on University is run by an as*hat who can't seem to get his business straight and can't deal with a hungry, pissed off customer. We ordered 2 pizzas at 5:15 was told it would take 30 minutes. I called to get an update was told it just left the store, 30 minutes later no pizza still. I call back at this point it’s been an hour and 30 minutes, i told we only have 2 drivers, i understand that but you ask for numbers for a reason. At this point i want to speak to a manager or get a discount i was told No, to both of those options. I canceled the order and they have lost my business.
