1st visit to this Hobby Lobby. Very pleased with the store and the staff. I needed just a few things however, like always I can get lost in Hobby Lobby with all they have. After trying to see everything in the store I realized I had to get going. I was very pleased with the service I received from the cashier I'm just sorry I didn't get her name she was very pleasant and helpful but I remember we discussed a favorite sweet treat mine was Reese's pieces and hers was Mallow Cups from Cracker Barrel. Thanks for the great service young lady ?

We were there for a picture frame but ended up being in the store longer than we wanted. Long story short they have all you need and more than you want. We did find the frame we wanted but they have so many to choose from and the prices are reasonable and some were on clearance. The employees were helpful and really nice.

So much STUFF! Nothing that is necessarily needed (personally opinionated, not intended for negativity or hate towards the establishment) but all items are incredibly engaging for all ages. Merchandise creating possible immersing and memorable experiences that resonate with anyone who has an interest in crafts, gardening, decorating knitting and that's not even close. If you're an artist then this place is a little slice of heaven. DIY parties, celebrations or any occasion can be themed all here in one store. The knick knacks will transform any room into a personalized place to get lost in and its reasonably priced too. I have never really believed those signs everywhere, 30%, 40% & 50% off hasn't made me feel like I'm catching a deal, rather creating a misconception of value. Overpriced and placed on perpetual clearance to leave the perception of "clearances" when its not even worth the 90% off marked price. Regardless, I love hobby lobby!!!!

I had written a 5 star review, and then I met the Spanish lady manager at the Hammond store, who went completely out of her way to make sure my experience was a headache. First, They're still using cash registers from the 80s, and don't accept tap to pay or Google or Apple pay, so I run to my truck to get cash and the guy was going to put my stuff aside till I git back. She walks over, says, "You can't do that and takes it and throws it in the return buggy. Then I come back in and he grabs it and is going to check me out real qui k because I had already sat in like for 20 minutes and she walks over, picks up the stuff, hands it to me and says you gotta get back in the line. People saw this and offered to let me be next, like 3 - 4 people were just awesome, she wasn't done yet though and says I'm sorry that wouldn't be fair to the rest of the people. I do feel sorry for her, though,it must be a sad life to be so miserable with your life that you just have to try to ruin other people's day. I was going to let my 5 stars stay and just tell about my experience with her but I was in this week and she still somehow managed to make sure my experience was 1 star or less, so here you are lady.

Went there looking for microwaveable batting for my project. I asked one worker where the material department was and she pointed to the opposite wall and said you can't miss it if you go all the way to the back wall.
She was nice and smiled when she was talking with me. She made a very good first impression and in retail, that is very important because you are one-on-one with the customer. (I wish I would have gotten her name. I will next time.)

There were maybe 3 other customers in the store. It appeared the merchandise offered was about 30% less to choose from in the store. Many empty shelves & blank spaces on the walls. Even the outside entrance area had about half the furniture that is normally out there. Very little scrapbooking supplies then they use to carry. Sign of the times?
