Hi to All of My New Automobile Purchasers in particular the 2024 Grand Cherokee Jeep Limited from Ross Downing in Hammond, Louisiana. Our experience started on a Monday morning via a telephone sales call answered by Ms Kyy. That conversation with Ms Kyy’s assistance to my husband’s book of questions actually sealed our deal. Ms Kyy’s patience and support is outstanding! My husband being the reviewing researcher for the best deals in everything, Ross Downing dealership was first on our list. Then we met with Mr Brock the financial guy, we enjoyed that experience as well! Today, we love our new Jeep, it’s loaded! Grateful from the first moment over that phone conversation. We received everything Ross Downing advertised, first was their customer service! Thanks to Kyy and Brock. J&K Matthews

Kyy was very professional and the whole buying experience was very easy they gave me pricing over the phone and had the best price on my new Ram 2500 by over $3000.00 from other dealers I shopped and gave me a great trade in value also . I highly recommend Ross Downing for your auto needs ?

They sold me a lemon bought a 2020 dodge the day a got it engine light came on I called them and told them they already knew what I was calling about the guy assured me it was ok was just the eco mode 6 months later the engine blew up on top of that they financed me with the highest apr they could get and I was paying double what it’s worth now I’ve spent 8,000 dollars on a new motor.. I don’t recommend taking or buying anything from community motors in Hammond Louisiana

Just purchased from them a second time, and the process was quick and easy. Everyone there is nice and friendly.

This is the absolute worst mechanic I've ever dealt with. Don't buy from them or any dealership that uses them. They have had my car for a month and a half and STILL haven't looked at it (beyond their stupidity last week which I will explain in my next review.)

Do not go to this dealership! They are somehow finagling with the insurance company. The customer is definitely put last. Just don't do it

I had previously brought my Jeep Wrangle in for oil change and tire rotation- always been please with speedy service. this time I took it in because of a warning light and a tire problem. First issue was the first available appointment was 3 weeks out. Parts had to be ordered (understandable) was supposed to be a couple of days. after not hearing from them, not able to contact by phone after leaving messages my husband went over there and was told mechanic was at lunch (10:30 am) after an hour or so was told mechanic was not there and they couldn't find the paperwork! When work was finally completed the bill shows work that I was told they recommended not to do. I had a tire throw a belt - getting new tires and was charged for a tire rotation (buying tires elsewhere) Will not return to the service center - and more than likely will find my next Jeep somewhere else

I brought my 2007 Jeep into repair the air conditioner blowing hot in July. They said I needed a new compressor, drive belt, and it was out of freon. It's hot and I need air. I approve the work trusting their mechanic.. $1200 approximately. I was glad to pay knowing my air would be working. Two (2) weeks later the air is blowing hot. Same as my original complaint. I take it back in Aug 7. Seven days later they finally look at my vehicle and they have come up with a new diagnosis for the same problem... an evaporator leak needing to be replaced and a new heater core and more freon. I point out that the first repair mentioned the freon was empty and no mechanic addressed an apparent leak. They are asking $1800 for this repair and even with the details that somewhere their mechanic replaced unnecessary parts with the first repair as he did not fix a leak, they are only offering me a $350 discount on labor. I feel like I am being railroaded as a woman. It is 100 plus degrees some days in Louisiana and they know people are suffering in this heat. I did not complain with the first repair, but they should bear the cost of the differ in the parts that I did not need with the new parts that they now believe will fix the problem. They are unapologetic for their mechanic making a incorrect repair call and I should pay for his mistake if want my air to work.

An awesome dealership which has earnest staff, well meaning leadership, and a great customer service. The salespeople are generally pleasant and have not offered an aggressive approach so far.

Apparently they are under new management but they still need a lot of work. I was here just of 3 months ago for over 3 hours just waiting on an oil change. Supposedly they had forgot to give the ticket to the mechanic. Today, I come in for a routine oil change and the oil change took 1hour and 57 minutes. According to the other posted reviews, this seems to be the new normal.

The gentleman in the service department is a world's class a-hole. I had made an appointment weeks ago and took off work to have my Jeep Cherokee serviced. Upon arriving I was told very rudely "I hope you plan on leaving your vehicle, I'm 10 cars behind and short technicians". I stated no sir, he then replied rudely again with, "Your gonna have to leave your car and besides I have to order parts anyway so it won't be fixed today". They won't be getting anymore of my business. I left there and went and traded that Jeep in on a Kia. It drives way better than my Jeep did. I owned a Dodge or a Jeep for over 20 years but customer service like that is disappointing and won't be tolerated by myself. I'll spend my money elsewhere!!!!
