The absolute worse Customer Service,I have banked with Whitney for at least 30 years There Customer Service was very good at one time,It has changed and us now terrible.I had no idea they had such terrible reviews ,I certainly felt obligated to also write a review.The branch I bank with is on Belle Chasse Hwy in Gretna,I will change banks in the very near future..

The service was so terrible in Algiers that I drove over to try this location, but it was closed despite their website saying it was open.

CLEARLY said at the door Monday-Saturday.. but NOPE.. just drive through (THE SLOWEST EVERRRR).Today made me finally change my mind and WILL GO with a different bank after 17 years.Horrible, horrible bank .It used to be a good one.

Wow! They desperately need a personnel change. When you walk in the woman behind the counter gives, in the most dour voice (think of Eeyore), a 'welcome' greeting in the most unwelcoming manner possible. They would be much better off not saying anything rather than having her talk in that manner. She was poorly spoken/inarticulate & continued to be as unfriendly & unprofessional as she could be throughout my transactions.

Unfriendly employees and their equipment rarely works (Or at least that is what they say when they can't get it to do what I need it to do)! I think of Eeyore just about every time I go to the Hancock Whitney Bank on Belle Chasse Highway. Whenever someone enters the bank one of the clerks yells some greeting from behind the counter and they normally, if not always, have the most disingenuous tone of voice. Again, think of Eeyore. Tone of voice, facial expression, & posture all scream "I hate my job, please go away so I don't have to do my job!" They would be much better off saying nothing rather than what they are doing. I've been going to this location for years because it is convenient. The employees bad attitude has not changed a bit. Probably half the time I go in there one of their systems is always 'down' and they are waiting on their IT people to fix the problem. I either wait or come back later. To make it worse... On one of my visits the teller said her system was down and she directed me to a woman at one of the desks. I waited my turn, again, once to get to the clerk and once to see the woman at the desk. To my pleasant surprise the woman at the desk was great! She spoke English well, unlike any of the tellers, she had a genuine smile on her face, and quickly helped me. Her name was Ann Phillips. She was everything that most people would want in a bank employee. Unfortunately, she was only there for one day to help out... Bummer!
