This was my first visit to Salon Sanity and my stylist was Kaylin. We discussed how I wanted to style my hair and she made sure she knew how much to cut off the top, sides and back. She ended up cutting it exactly how I wanted it. She was very pleasant and professional. I also liked that I could book my appointment online with ease. They have quite a few stylists and are currently open seven days a eeek, so you don’t have to wait long for an appointment.

6 stars for Kaylin! This was my first time here and I'm so glad I tried it! My hair isn't particularly difficult to work with except for the fact that I just have quite a lot, and it had been about a year since my last cut so chopping six inches off looked like she had just finished 2 appointments lol. I gave a basic description when booking my appointment online and provided photos when I arrived. In the end the result was exactly what I had wanted when I went in, and still looks great 3 weeks later, which I feel is the true test. I'm so grateful and will definitely be back! Thanks Kaylin!
Requested style: Super short like a hybrid pixie faux-hawk.
Stylist: Kaylin asked questions and took a cautious approach, which I appreciated as a first-time client. It felt like a truly collaborative effort as she was making sure that she worked toward giving me the right length, shape and volume for my desired style.

Requested style: This appointment was made at the last minute and at the buttcrack of dawn and they were wonderful enough to fit me in to get my split ends cut and my hair straightened. Nice location, sweet stylists, and it only cost me $45.00. A+++ service!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So I have thick wavy/frizzy hair. Usually my hair takes a long time to do and always has frizz no matter what I try to do. Gabby gave me the best blowout. My hair was silky smooth and finally no frizz. I will definitely be back!

I have only been in one hair salon/barbershop in the last 30 years and only had shaved my head. When I moved to Nola, I decided to start growing my hair out (2019). All of my anxiety about what to do with my hair instantly went out the window the moment I met Kerry yesterday! She answered all my questions and most importantly listened to what I wanted. I really needed the self care, and it was the best I've felt about myself in a long time! Thank you, Kerry, for your awesome work!

Kaylin is an amazing colorist and I found my new stylist! I’m still new to the area and after several attempts trying out new stylists, I finally found my salon and stylist. I highly recommend Kaylin- she’s so nice and fun to talk to and she did the best job with my hair. She helped me clarify what I was working towards with my hair and brought it to life and it looks really natural which is what I wanted. Even my hairstylist best friend back home (a harsh critic) loves my new color. And the salon is so nice- definitely a place I will keep coming back to. thank you!
