My child wants some stacked jeans and wanted to come specifically to this store in Oakwood Mall. They have a huge selection of the latest fashion. Lots and lots of colors and styles. They even have stuff for kids. The very tall man helped us and it was a fun shopping experience because of him. He brought out different sizes and made great suggestions. The man behind the counter even called the store on Canal St. to make an inquiry for us. We got the stacked jeans and know where to go in the future to get the good stuff.

There is plenty of parking (mainly because there weren't many people there the day I went). I do like the funky styles of the stores I did go into. Everything was clean. I guess it's easy to keep clean if you don't have many customers. Interesting customer base. Wide aisle, plenty of space to sit if needed. I came because a friend wanted to come to shop for some clothes.

The physical mall is in TERRYTOWN LA 70056! That is where your feet and your car will be. So, your GPS directions might send you to the wrong place. Management Offices are located in 70053 zip code on the expressway. This mall has been a part of TERRYTOWN 70056 since I moved here 40 years ago! I recommend this mall simply because it has always been an asset to our community. Keep it real! Is someone looking on here for shopping recommendations or to meet with management in an office???? Terrytown is at the foot of the bridge and minutes from New Orleans. It is the only traditional mall on the West Bank since the closure of Belle Promenade.

Decent mall, not many stores. It's not too extravagant but it gets the job done. I was in town for the weekend and decided to stop by. It's not too many options in regards to stores but it gets the job done.

To tell you the truth I never would have stepped foot in this mall from past reputation. I haven’t been in at least 11 years. We went only to donate money to Santa after hearing about someone stealing money out of his wallet and once I showed up and entered the mall I was extremely surprised. I was shocked to see the variety of stores how clean it was and what a beautiful place it was. It has a lot to offer including activities for young children. I’ll defiantly be shopping here when in the area!

Whatever you do please, do not buy anything from the Smoothie King! Just recently I went to the smoothie king and the Bananas were close to mildew in my opinion! I had to stop them from putting them in my smoothie!

LACK OF PERSONAL SECURITY! Beware of taking your older, younger, or infirm who can not take care of themselves to Oakwood. The place seems to be overrun by hooligans! Every vulgar, profane word is loudly spoken endlessly by MANY thug types. Abominable Behavior: Many walk around with their bare bottoms and/or underwear completely exposed and the mall staff and security do NOTHING about it. Most of the security are in such bad physical condition that they couldn't do anything about anything, assaults, theft, etc., even if they were a mind to do so, which they aren't. They stand or walk around in groups only interested in talking to each other and ignoring everything around them. They are for show only.

the small seems to be a hidden gem. They have a wide range of stores and pretty divers food court. It's located right off the highway making it a convenient stop. the fact that it is one story might sway you to think that there isn't much here but they definitely Target the upper middle-class with stores like Old Navy, Forever 21, H& M, and JCPenney. during my visit, I was also able to hit up Payless, Charlotte Russe and New York & Company. the space itself felt cleaning and I liked having the majority of stores I shop at in one place I will definitely be returning in the future.

Oakwood is NOT family friendly!!! Young black juveniles and adults walk around with the bare bottoms showing and/or their underwear showing and use every type of perverse language. The tables in the food court were filthy, crumbs, paper, condiment residue.
