MY EXPERIENCE DID NOT HAPPEN IN JULY 2024; IT HAPPENED JUST THE OTHER DAY, AUGUST 22,2024. PLEASE READ MY REVIEW THOROUGHLY BEFORE REPLYING. I CAN POST THE RECEIPT. I brought my car to this place on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 because the AC suddenly started blowing hot air which I explained to the guy that answered the phone when I called; he also stated that it would be $99.00 to diagnose the issue. Received a call stating that a part (valve) is needed, cost is now $200+ & that it will be delivered 3/330pm that evening, car will be ready by 5pm. Called to get a status & was told that the wrong part was delivered, right part will come the next day & now the cost is $400+ which included an overnight delivery fee. Called the next morning to get a status, was told that my car will be ready by 12pm. Get there, paid for the service, drive car to realize that the AC is not blowing cold air, it’s not hot like when I initially brought my car in but it’s not cold like it was before it suddenly started blowing hot air. I called, explaining what I’m experiencing & I was told to bring the car back in. I decided to give it some time to see if the air would start blowing cold, but on today, Thursday, August 22,2024, the AC is now back to blowing hot air. I go to the shop & explain that the AC is back to blowing hot air, I’m told that due to age (8yrs old) & the type of car (Audi) that it’s difficult to fix & now it’s the condenser/compressor that’s the problem but I wasn’t told this was the diagnosis when I paid the $400.00+. I asked the guy at the counter will the $400.00+ be applied to the now cost of $2000.00 & I was told no. Either this shop doesn’t know how to repair the type of car I have or problem was misdiagnosed, either way, why not take accountability to fix correctly (not do patch work) or give me back my money to bring it elsewhere to have it diagnosed, repaired correctly. Customer lost, this shop is a fraud & rip off.

My girlfriend and I took her 2016 Audi to Express Tech Automotive because the air conditioning wasn't working. We requested a recharge, for which they quoted $99.00. Later, they informed us of a faulty low-side valve needing replacement, costing $439.85. We confirmed if this would resolve the cooling issue, and they assured us it would. After an overnight part order and completion of the work, we realized the air was still not cold. Upon contacting them, they diagnosed a low-performing compressor and a condenser needing replacement, which would cost thousands. They did this without re-examining the car. If this was known, why wasn't it communicated when we collected the car, or why wasn't it mentioned that the valve replacement might not fix the issue? After years of service there, I feel cheated and have decided not to return.

This is the only place we will use for car repairs. The staff is amazing and the prices are incredibly fair. I've always been pleased with the work done. I refer everyone I know to them if they mention they need a vehicle repaired.

Pleeaassee do not go to these people, I brought my car to them before reading the reviews. I dropped it off Thursday went to check on it Monday, this lady tells me, with a nasty attitude “ we not working on your car, it has too much wrong with it.” First of all what mechanic shop tells you they can’t work on your vehicle and don’t even attempt to tell you what is wrong with your car. I took my vehicle to these good people on 4th street my friend told me about. Always read reviews first!

I do not recommend anyone ever using this place for Anything mechanical not even a oil change very shady tree mechanics even calling them Shady tree mechanics is a compliment! I do not think anyone in the shop are certified mechanics but my range rover there to have a compressor replaced. Started off of something simple and ended up a huge problem they charge me 1500 to replace the compressor went to pick up my vehicle and it was blowing hot it and it was blowing before I had it repaired they told me they need to keep it for an additional week to see what they need to fix two weeks later I pick my vehicle up still the same problem they said they needed to keep it again to see if they can fix what the problem is this went on for two more times long story short they did not fix the vehicle but end up breaking something else after I spoke with the owner I told her that I was more than patient with them getting the job done Well they still didn’t fix it end up damaging my fans The head mechanic was just as an experience as the other ones when I questioned him about it he gets an attitude and start yelling then I started yelling decides to call the police as if that was going to solve the problem talk to the police and told him everything that happened and they told me they been there before with other Customers please people if you’re reading reviews don’t make the same mistake I did I’m in the process of having my lawyer take care of this issue but this is going to be long and drug out don’t make the same mistake terrible customer service is terrible the The people that worked on my car because I cannot give them the satisfaction of Saying mechanics They don’t deserve the title Trailor trash!!!!Services: Engine repair

How far the worst place you could ever bring your car I wouldn't even recommend going there to get a brake tag there's not a mechanic inside they're only a bunch of shady tree So call mechanics! suck my car there to get a compressor replaced four weeks later because that's how long they had my car and long story short now my fans need to re-be replaced I need a new compressor again and I hear a ticking noise coming from the vehicle as if they put a time bomb in my vehicle please don't make the same mistake I did going through court with this issue don't bring your car there ever

I did the recommended suspension work they said needed done during a previous repair. When that was done they said I needed additional suspension work. I asked why they didn’t do all of it. I was told I didn’t pay them to diagnose that. After some debate they asked if I expected them to keep my older high mileage truck repaired? Yes I do. I took it somewhere else and when they did all the work they found out the part they had replaced wouldn’t tighten properly and may have been the wrong part. I’ve gone there for many years but won’t return again.Service: Steering / Suspension
