“Good parking. Pay for 2 hour parking along the street. A lot of little shops around you can walk to and enjoy. This place has a lot of beautiful and elegant dresses here. I didnt say Yes to the Dress here, but it was an almost! The place is a little cluttered but organized at the same time.
The only thing i didnt like was that after I started trying on dresses I was stuck in the dressing room while the last who assisted me ran and got what dresses she thought i would look good in. She and I did not have the same taste so she was picking out dresses I wouldnt like. After like the 3rd of 4th dress one of my bridesmaids went look while i was in the dressing room with the lady assisting me and my bridesmaid got it back on track with a dress she picked out that was my style. I also felt a bit rushed.
Other than that, they have beautiful dresses so I would definitely recommend making them a stop.”

We looked everywhere for six months until we found Pearls. Go here first & save yourself time & money. “I fell in love with my dress at Wedding Belles. It was the first shop I visited and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I also did not feel overly pressured. Some other shops I visited texted/emailed me multiple times afterwards but Wedding Belles did not. After I picked out the dress, I mostly worked with Daniela who was very professional. She kept me informed of the status of the dress and helped connect me with a seamstress Sophie Tran who works directly with the shop.”
“Huge fan of Scriptura! They have the best stationary and similar card and letter/paper products (I don't know how else to describe it). The staff is super friendly and helpful and will take time to help you find the perfect gift or items for yourself. Yes, custom and imported stationary can be kind of pricey for what it is, BUT Scriptura does not inflate their prices (as far as I can tell). The prices are fair and on par with other shops in New Orleans. They are a great local shop where you can get the kind of help you need, as well as custom products. You cannot get that kind of help buying online, there's no two ways about it. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Scriptura for all your stationary needs whether your local or visiting New Orleans!”

“I should have posted this review along time ago. I went in to Gwen a few months ago looking for a last-minute dress for a party that I had to go to. Because I am unusual measurements, when didn't have anything as is for me. However, we spoke about the different options. Gwen told me the places I could look for a nice cheap dress and what to look for in those dresses. She then explained that I should bring the dress into her so that we could modify it. Once I was able to find a dress, under her instruction, I brought it in. While we spoke, when realized that I also sew. Once we had decided what could be done with the dress to make it look nicer than it was, she gave me the option of paying her to do it or she explain to me how I could do it myself, and how she thought it was a within my capabilities. Because Gwen is so honest, I ended up not buying anything from her. She didn't want me to spend money that I didn't need to. Through her instruction, and through her honesty, I was able to find a gorgeous ball gown for under $40, and under three hours of work on my part. I will continue to go to Gwen for anything I need because I know that she will do the best that she can to help me.”

I was assisted by James who was beyond knowledgeable of the dresses they had to offer. James listened to my likes and dislikes throughout the process and pulled me some dresses that fitted my wants and desires. It was truly a 10/10 experience!”
