“I'm looking for a price on a power steering pump replacement for 2005 SL 500 Mercedes. I have my pump because I took off the ABC system and only now need to connect to the power steering pump reservoir.”
“Recently, my power steering went out. Took my vehicle to my regular shop and one of their affiliates and they were unable to repair it (they mainly do minor repairs, brakes, tires, etc.). Called the dealership and another full-service mechanic I had used previously and neither was able to get me in to even take a look for 2 weeks plus. Peter's was able to look the following business day. He ordered the part and it took about a week to arrive, but he had my car done within a few hours of dropping it off. The estimate was a little pricier than I expected but another trusted mechanic told me that it was certainly within the range he would expect. Peter was very friendly and professional, and apparently knows his stuff!”

“Repair work was done within the time frame indicated, and for the cost quoted. Only issue I had is that the paint scrapes on the back of the rear view mirror were left there.”
“They are so nice and do great work. They get a lot of business and are very professional. They did an excellent job on my relative’s car. I got several estimates before and they had the best price and timeframe to complete the work. She is so happy and pleased and back on the road again. I definitely would not send my car anywhere else but here!”
“TLDR: Transmission fluid leak; repaired at a fair price and work guaranteed for 1 year. Front desk is great.
Enjoyed dealing with their front office! The boss took a little time to chat about the process and bracketed estimates. April at the desk was friendly and honest, very pleasant to work with. If a Mechanic was around they would typically hold the door for me and that was not necessary but very much noticeable.
Another review mentioned credit card fees. All credit transactions incur fees and this is capped in the sate of Louisiana. I suggest square as an alternative to clover to likely reduce the share of fees West Transmission has to pay to process credit. Of course the customer will do better with debit.
They had an open bay in the morning, my Jeep was ready late afternoon.
Repair was fairly priced:
Labor: $400(likely split between the trans lines and AC work; access to both involves similar front-end disassembly).
Parts: $300
AC Evac & Recharge Fee: $100.00 (standard shop add-on for evacuating old refrigerant, leak test, and refill with R-134a).
I will consider them in the future!”

“I would give them ten stars!! Their name fits them. I had used them on two occasions! They changed my lightbulbs on both headlights which in their system stated it would take an hour. Their system showed two different prices for each headlight. Came back in about 5 -10 minutes and only charged me for one side and even discounted that side. They are honest people and are quick who will squeeze you in their busy schedule.”
“After calling o'reilly's, advance auto parts, autozone and summit racing parts and none of them could get my part, I finally remembered to call Fayard Auto Parts! Fayard has been around for as long as I can remember and they were able to get the ever elusive 2004 grand Marquis lighting control module for me, at a very good price! I am also getting my rotors and brake pads from Fayard for my 2003 Lincoln Town Car at a good price. I will never call Autozone again! lol. Fayard is now my go-to shop for all of my car parts!”
“After a complete failure on another tire company I went to Firestone . Purchased 4 new tires with road hazard. Getting a better tire, better warranty and service than the other tire company offered. The service was quick and professional by all especially the front desk advisors. The only gripe was had to wait for a new set of wheel locks as one broke. Firestone paid for it so I was happy about that. The only other hiccup was the service person who brought my truck around to the front the building from the service bay left the vehicle in drive and turned the vehicle off not a safe thing to do! He also adjust my seat all the way back!”
