“I went to this store based on location convenience. The store was a little in disarray, but completely understandable as they have a lot of things marked down after the holiday and the general public has little to no regard of how they leave things in retail stores. There were employees working on rezoning the aisles and I could see the progress they were making. But the customer service alone will bring me back to this location. Every employee I encountered greeted me and asked if I needed help. Everyone was super friendly and from observing and talking with a few I can tell that they take pride in this store and really care that the customers are taken care of!! I observed who I think was the manager and she was awesome - in making sure customers were greeted and employees were staying on top of what needed taken care of. Will definitely go back.”

“This store is clean the staff is nice an very helpful. The dollar store used to be a inexpensive alternative to the higher-priced stores. You used to be able to get high quality at lower prices. BUT over the last six or seven years it seems as though the prices of their merchandise have gotten more expensive, and the quality and quantity has become less and less over the years. So now the items you usually find, that's cheaper than Walmart, end up being a smaller size, an if your not careful, you will not notice the size being slightly smaller (that's how they trick you), so definitely pay attention not only to the price, but the quantity or size the product lists.”

“The store is clean and stocked; good job people. The issue with this store is at the checkout. Always only one check out and it's slow, slow, slow. Why not get BOTH self checkouts going in addition to the cashier or if not, why not have a second person to check people out? It's so slow I often will just run to Carter's supermarket instead. I'm going to give 5 stars because I know this is a problem they will resolve.”

“The one on greenwell spring road has everything. Clean store, quick service. the one on airline by McClelland never has anything and their lines are always so freaking long it just gets annoying. I can see that they are slowly getting better but they have a long ways to go.”

“This is the best Dollar General in North Baton Rouge. I frequent this particular Dollar General quite often as the customer service is always impeccable. The staff there is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming, warm and friendly. I have never had a bad experience and they always have everything that I need in stock. The staff always greets you as you walk in and they are always available and willing to assist.”
“Love the dollar tree. It's the best place to go when you have kids. You dont have to say no because of the price, but sometimes that makes it easy to spend too much. This dollar tree is pretty well stocked and organized. They always have a variety of craft items, beauty products, toys, office supplies etc. And most of it is pretty decent quality. And even when it's not at least it was only a dollar.”
“Good location, always stays stocked. 2 days after Hurricane Ida (2021) they're open and the Wal-Mart that co-habits the same parking lot isn't. Got my lunch and a few other things for around $13.00, which is a big help in these tempestuous times.”

“While in Baton Rouge today for an appointment I stopped in to purchase some items I needed. I was greeted with friendly faces and great attitudes. This may sound dramatic but THIS IS LITERALLY THE CLEANEST AND MOST WELL STOCKED DOLLAR GENERAL THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN and in my 56 years I’ve been in plenty Dollar General stores. I had exchanged a few kind words with one of the employees upon entering the store. Once I finished shopping I set out to find the store manager and there she was helping another employee stock the shelves. It was Patrice the manager, the same kind lady I had spoken to earlier. I said “I want to let you know that this is absolutely the cleanest most well stocked Dollar General I’ve ever been in!!” She said “thank you very much I appreciate it.” A clean, well stocked store with kind and caring employees with great customer service and good attitudes is definitely a rare find these days. When I left there I thought “whoever is over this store needs to know what a fantastic job their staff is doing and I’m going to make sure they hear it from me!!” Hats off to all of the ladies I came into contact with today. Your commitment to great customer service and all of your hard work is not going unnoticed!! May God bless each of you and your families ❤️”

“A quick stop to buy two pairs of reading glasses as I dropped the last ones and they're scratched. It's a bummer that everything isn't $1 any more but at least they're good about displaying the price.
This store was reasonably tidy with no merchandise on the floor and no discarded stuff in the aisles. Shelves were stocked properly and I had no wait at the checkout. The young man who rang up my sale was quick and efficient.”

“I love this Dollar General location. The Manager and her crew keep the shelves stocked, the store is not cluttered like some other locations, this store is very clean. The workers are very helpful, kind, very professional. This Manager at this location works well with her workers. She helps and they are all team players, they gets the job done. No matter what area I am coming from, this is the Dollar General location I come to. Keep up the good work and I think this location needs a good good good raise!??? Excellent Job!!”

“This is the biggest of the three Dollar Trees I shop at. The Walmart super center is across the street. I frequently find items that the other stores do not carry or out of stock. The employees are both helpfully and friendly.”
“I have been to many Dollar Trees, this one by far, is the cleanest, and most organized one, they have more of a variety in the arts and crafts section. They have friendly staff, but the most friendly one, I believe is a manager, she is very outspoken and just nice to everyone, so nice the whole store can hear her upbeat mannerism. “These stores remind me of Air Conditioned Flea Markets. There are Gems in the Rough if you’re willing to dig through the mass of items. The stores usually contain enough items to fill a building twice their size. Ok no big deal. The money that they probably save from the smaller buildings perhaps passes down to the consumer. This is probably what gives Family Dollar the edge.Not every item is the best price you can fine. But about 50% of them are. The employees are usually busy bees. A little short handed but they’re Troopers. They deal with the heavy workload to the best of their abilities. With a friendly disposition. I applaud them.”
